Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. After the food was dropped off, no one really came back to check if everything was okay. At the end, one lady came with a portable card reader without even bringing a bill first — she just said ‘it’s $93.’ When we asked for the check, they took a long time to come back. When she finally did, she gave us $5 back saying she had overcharged for the pupusas. However, after reviewing the prices listed on the menu, the total was still incorrect. I pointed it out, and she admitted the system prices are different and not updated to match the menu, but said she couldn’t do anything about it. We went to get pollo con tajadas as we were craving it. Going in the place had music way too loud couldnt hear each other talk. Ordered tamarind water (agua de tamarindo) and it was gross. You could taste the sour from being in the heat with no ice. We were there for about 20 min. Had to ask another waitress for the attencion of ours. Asked for her to make it to go and instantly it was ready to go. The tables were dirty on top and the bottom. Felt like they never cleaned them. The floor was sticky couldnt tell if it was beer or something else. A/C i think might be out of service as they had plastic strips at the door and the door open completly. We had an incredible dining experience! The food was super delicious and authentic. We ordered pupusas, tamales, and plantains with refried beans and crema, and every dish was bursting with flavor. The pupusas were perfectly cooked, and the tamales had that authentic homemade taste. The plantains, paired with the refried beans and crema, made for a delightful sweet and savory combo.
