I went here to pick up some last minute groceries the day before Christmas Eve. As I was approaching my car after shopping, I noticed a cart guy standing directly in front of my car struggling with a chain of shopping carts looking around as if he was checking to see if anyone noticed him. I looked at my car and noticed a large dent in back that was not there before (matched up directly with the height of a shopping cart handle). I asked him if he hit my car with the shopping carts that he appeared to be struggling with and he immediately froze up and eventually admitted to me that he hit my car. I was very nice to him but politely told him that my car is leased and I have to turn it in come January, so I would need to see if I can be compensated or have it paid for. I went and got the store managerā who was, off the bat, very irritable. He walked with me to the parking lot and he began questioning me like I was the one who did something wrong. From what I noticed, he did not question his employee. He didnāt show an ounce of sympathy and was definitely not eager to hear me out. He took my info and told me he would have someone reach out to meā but because there are no cameras and no one seen it, thereās not much he can do. I proceeded to tell him that the guy admitted it to me and even offered me the $40 of cash that was in his pocket for me not to say anything and he still didnāt bat an eye. Finally, a month later, HR had gotten back to me with the verdict that there was no proof and that the store manager had reported to them that his employee did not do it. I was in no way shape or form trying to get anyone in trouble, I was very polite to the both of themā I simply just wanted to be reimbursed for the damage that his employee has admitted causing to my vehicle. This whole thing made me sick to my stomach . I donāt blame the cart guy, I blame the poor management of this place. if you go to this location, pay attention to the condition your car is in before and after shopping there. I wish I got the managers name! I was a faithful customer there but have not returned...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreManagement is incompetent assistants as well. No one is on the same page not one person in front is trained right. Kids like one kid said and I quote I fill it up till you tell me to stop. Another girl hits coupons so she doesn't have to deal with the front end so she can finish orders. Other kids skip items to ringing giving away free product. The front end Will, Liz and Julia do not know who to communicate with one any or to correctly staff there front end. They give kids summers off cause and I quote they needed to train new employees so they left the year long employees have summer off. Any and all the front end staff state to all random customers in basic chatter that they get a week of training and left on own and do not know how to bag groceries let alone count money. U get cans on top of bread with a smile. This store is soiss managed it's unreal. When speaking with and manager they insult you speak over you and make fun of your child, and it all has to do with there incompetence and training methods the store is full of angry untrained people that don't care about there customers or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Market Basket is poorly managed in 2 important demographics the sub shop and front end. Called ahead for 4 subs to be made guy gave me a attitude about it, and said it wouldn't be ready for an hour, I was ok with the wait time but when I opened the sub up all the subs had the incorrect toppings or completely wrong sub all together, I don't believe anyone could mess it up as bad as they did i think they purposely make it wrong to discourage people from calling in orders. I believe the workers who work in the sub shop don't want to work and by purposely messing orders up it will cause business to go down so they don't have to do much (there is only so much prep work to do ie. dicing tomatoes, cutting lettuce, etc). Went to the cash register and there was a massive line with 5 lanes open 1 of which was 12 items or less, place needs to be better in a variety or areas mainly management. Please don't let children (high school kids are managers scary)run your multimillion dollar business it doesn't make sense or train them so the lines aren't excessively long and wait time exceeds 30 minutes...
