The Market Al Fresca — Local services in Tewksbury

A group of friends and I made the drive from Boston out here just to try the pickle sandwhich and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded all of our expectations! The pickle was perfect; crunchy, hint of garlic, flavorful but not overpowering. Make sure to get the garlic aïoli and/or the honey mustard for dipping. I personally got the garlic aïoli on the sandwhich and honey mustard on the side and it was perfect. What made this even better was the staff. Super friendly and helped us pick out what to put on our sandwiches so that they were exactly what we were looking for. I went in to the market to check it out. I saw a few people ordering sandwiches and decided I couldn't leave without one. I ordered "the medford". It's what I would consider an Italian. I was a little disappointed when I was told they were out of salami but I figured I'd try it anyway. I will not argue the quality of this sandwhich... Great bread and fresh cold cuts. It comes with thier al fresca mix which is marinated vegetables. Overall it was a good sandwich but if I'm being honest it can't beat a market basket Italian for $5.99. This sub was $14. They have a beautiful pizza oven then I'll be back to try but I probably won't ever be back...

The food is always fantastic from the restaurant…. When I’m in a rush I go to the market and it never disappoints. Tonight (Sunday)they close at 7pm and I walked in at 6:59pm on the dot and Olivia was there and was kind enough to let me get dinner for my family.
