First time being here. Parking was in a field along the camper side of the fair, we were able to park near the gate entrance (small clean shed). They had a nice shelter house with benches and fair map right across the entrance with drivers of golf carts to take you pass the campers to the main fairgrounds. My son and I were the only ones that took him up and asked if we could have a tour since never been here. He gladly took us around the grounds and pointed out certain buildings and where to go. Even took us to see the old antique tractors and pointed out the new (new to them but still antique) old saw mill that was donated. We were visiting from Hardin County Horse royalty to tour the fair and see other projects, luckily we met the kind volunteer that took us to the building that we needed to go to! He also told us the spot we really needed to go for ice cream! (My son did get some of the great ice cream before we left!) When we entered the Jr Fair office we were greeted right away by a mom royalty volunteer and she was on the phone to have her daughter to another royalty to take us on a tour! We were welcomed so warmly. The Queen took my son on the fair tour while I waited near the ice cream building that had a covered porch with lots of seating and picnic tablets in front of the race track. They had a lot of food trucks to choose from and spread out so you didn’t have to walk far for food. The grounds were clean, easy to navigate with the pavement lanes that went through the fairgrounds. They also had clean inside bathrooms. After the tour my son and I walked around the animal barns, most were newer and even with the animals you didn’t smell them. The pins were clean and easy access to see the animals, except the dairy/beef barn. They had their showing going on so we didn’t want to be in the way. We stayed for the horse show and it was a delight to have seats with shade! Overall we would go back in the future. I loved that the kids/family was able to set up there campers near (with in reason) the animal barns where the kids had easy access to their animals. Looks like they were able to bring their own golf carts/utvs with them, which would be great to have (seen where they were parked not blocking/piled on top of each other or where people had to walk around. I Try not to post pictures of other people on here. The fair was busy even though it looks...
Read moreGreat Flea Market with hundreds of vendors! Check out the fairground's website for dates and times. Unfortunately I haven't been able to attend for a few years but hopefully I can make the trip up Tiffin for next season's flea markets. My grandfather was a vendor here in the early to mid 2000s and I recall a lot of great times as a teenager visiting here. Loved browsing the market for hidden treasures. There was always a wide variety of antiques and collectables from art pottery to glassware to coins and everything in between that you could display on a table or fit in a...
Read moreThe Tiffin Flea Market might be the best in Ohio! There's a ton of vendors and lots of food options!!! As for the actual Seneca County Fair not so much... The food vendors are great. Lots of options. The activities like the Rodeo, Tractor Pulls, Hoarse Pull, Lawn tractor pulls are great. But there's no alcohol at any of the events... which is a shame. Also there ride and game options are terrible. Yes they offer fifty cent rides. But in a whole the options...
