UPDATE 6/30/18: After many calls and correspondences, we found how the errors took place and it all boiled down to communication. Certain aspects were handled as they were able by ProvenIT, which was appreciated. Without question they took a ton of time to look at how they were doing things and found where things can improve. After all this, I'll call that a win for everyone involved. I appreciate Joe and Jeff's time on this, as neither wanted a customer to be left in a lurch.
UPDATE 5/30/18: The company reached out and explained once again how things got to where they are and clarified a few points. They'll be getting back to me early next week. Hoping this can be put to rest as I hate being caught in the middle.
Simply put, I could not be more disappointed with this company.
We are stuck with 3 more years on a copier agreement their rep indicated could be "cancelled at any time", something they have confirmed via email to my staff. (Yes, we have it in writing.) They sold off the lease to Leaf - another copier company - unbeknownst to us. When we called the salesman asking who the heck Leaf was, he said they were the maintenance guys and not to worry. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. And now Leaf will not honor Proven's word to us.
Over the past three months Proven has indicated they would rectify the situation. Yet when push came to shove, this past week they simply told us "good luck - we're not helping."
They fired the guy who sold us the copier lease we found out as well for pulling this sort of stuff. Now we're stuck holding the bag.
I rarely write bad reviews as I feel they rarely are objective. That said, we have numerous counts of their sales rep and their support staff saying they'd fix things yet nothing has ever been rectified.
If I ran my company like this, I'd expect to be out of business within the year. The level of my disdain for Proven right now is immeasurable. They are the exact definition of why copier companies...
Read moreWhen I looked at getting printers for my business in Jan I decided to go with Proven. However, I now regret that choice.
I own a printing and marketing company. I told them what my needs were and they showed me options. I should have seen the red flags that the sales rep had to go to her manager for everything. The sales manager did all the talking (used car salesman material for sure).
After several different finance companies told me no, I told them I guess I'll wait. Then magically I got approved. Before signing I asked what happens if I need different equipment or need to cancel. I was told many times that I could cancel or upgrade at anytime (I now know that was just to get me to sign).
When signing I noticed some wrong info on the documents. They changed it on the documents I saw (documents they and finance company have the old info). They put this whole contract in the wrong business name and I have been fighting a mess to change it.
When I signed the contract I asked who the finance company is and was told it's going through the internal finance team. 2 weeks later I start getting calls from LEAF. Nothing I had signed stated Leaf.
Overall I am very unhappy with the way things happened. The sales manager will say anything to get you to sign.
One other thing that concerns me is that when I go back and look through emails, all my emails from Proven IT are gone besides the initial emails and a few random none important ones. It's like they recalled all...
Read moreProven has been our provider for printing/copying for about a year now and we have been very happy with not only the service, but the price. Not only were we able to get a brand new machine, with all the bells and whistles, but we are saving money compared to having 3 separate hp printers that needed new ink every few weeks and needed to be replaced every couple of years. The service techs are amazing in how quickly they arrive after a call. Best in the industry, and we have had plenty of experience with other vendors. Would highly recommend. Thank you Michael Podobnik and...
