The manager was wildly inappropriate. I was called rude, condescending, and that I walked in with an attitude. None of which was true, but even if I was all of those things, a manager should never say that to the customer. Apparently, I was problematic because I asked if the item I was there to pick up was supposed to be bent. The manager said it was, with an attitude. When I double checked on the website, and said it wasn’t and I’d like to return it, I got a huge sigh and was told she would have to mail it back. I guess she didn’t like when I asked what that meant for me. She just repeated SHE would have to mail it back. She told me there was a problem with the returns on the register. She told me she was also unable to give me any kind of documentation that would prove the item was getting mailed back. So I decided to just return it at freehold. I asked for a manager since she was being so rude and was told she was the manager and that I was rude and all the things mentioned earlier. Then she dismissed me by saying I have to help other customers. One man had come in and was waiting to ask for a size. Yet again she was rude, since the other employee in the store could have helped him, as she was doing nothing but standing there. Do yourself a favor and just go to freehold if you need...
Read moreI used to shop Aldo all of time. I came into this store right before Christmas to get my sister a very specific style of boots. There were 4 employees in the middle of the store conversing (it was actually dead and I didn't realize they were all emolyees... some were overdressed for the job and some were not). I pick out the boots within 5 mins but need to ask for her size. That's when I see that the chitchat is over, and that one of the super fancy ones is an employee, and that she's just standing there, forever fixing her hair in the mirror. I put my hand on the display boot, she looks right at me, and nothing! I loudly say to my husband, "If I'm spending $100 on boots, it ain't gonna be here", and leave. As we're leaving, is when someone actually acknowledges us. I drove to the nearest DSW and...
Read moreHorrible service! There were 3 employees surrounding the register talking amongst themselves. I was never greeted or asked if I needed any assistance when I walked into the store. I walked around the store and when I needed assistance I had to call out for help multiple times, way more than a customer should. The energy and vibe was very negative. I felt as if I was bothering them for needing assistance. It seemed like they didn’t want to be at work because they weren’t helpful at all and would walk away when I still needed help. I love shopping at Aldo but this is one Aldo I won’t be spending any of my money at. Very...
