Buckley's Gourmet Catering — Local services in Tisbury

To anyone who is not familiar with Buckley's Gourmet Catering, their unmatched professionalism and outstanding food I encourage you to read my review. In August Buckley's catered the Welcome Party and Wedding for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding in Aquinnah. If you are considering Buckley's Taylor Buckley will likely be your point of contact. Taylor is professional, creative and responsive. She presents wonderful food and timing suggestions for the particular style of event you are planning and knows how to execute. Buckley's is a well-oiled machine. People are still raving about the food and presentation at our Welcome Party. The paella was outstanding. The seafood was fresh and the rice was perfectly cooked. The next day was the wedding and they were on-point from start to finish. The wedding was on-site and staff were so professional and on-hand with trays of wine and other beverages as soon as the ceremony broke. It was a small, but important detail because it was a great touch and took some heat off the bar. Every app was fresh and as delicious as you would hope. If it was supposed to be crispy then it was perfectly crispy, if the app was supposed to be rich and creamy then it was, and if the app was a combination of both it was - nothing soggy - everything was perfectly baked/cooked. The dinner was also outstanding. The lobster bisque was awesome, the salad a work of art, the fresh cod tasted like it was just caught, tender with an array of fresh vegetables and the filet was piping hot, sliced like butter and melted in your mouth. The dinners were delicious the presentations were beautiful. If you choose Buckley's you'll feel fortunate to work with Taylor. She is a great listener and really wants your event to be something beautiful you will remember for your lifetime.

My husband and I recently used Buckley's Gourmet catering for our wedding in Martha's Vineyard. Jessica and her team were terrific. When we initially met, Jessica was warm and open to our ideas. She built on them to help us find the perfect menu for our blend of guests from three countries and seven states. She made great recommendations for other vendors to finalize our plans and ensured the 15 kids in attendance at our reception felt as special as the bride and groom.

We had a couple of guests who weren't sure if they would be able to attend until the last minute. Jessica and team treated these last minute updates as if they were expected and super-easy to handle without missing a beat.

The food was delicious both during the cocktail hour and reception and the service was outstanding. Several waiters followed my husband and I while we took our posed pictures to ensure we got to taste the excellent hors d'oeuvres being served. And, at the end of the night, the staff probably gave me one of the nicest compliments of my wedding. So, they will always hold a special place...

Buckley's Gourmet Catering was involved in nearly every meal of a long wedding weekend we hosted on Martha's Vineyard. From our buffet-style rehearsal dinner, to plated wedding, to a post-wedding brunch and burgers/hotdog style cookout, the entire Buckley family was right there with us. Not only was the service incredibly professional, but the staff were so warm-- by the end of the weekend, I felt we knew each other! The team helped take the stress of feeding everyone away so that we could enjoy our weekend, and the food was TOP NOTCH. We had braised short ribs and herb encrusted cod with a lemon beurre blanc for wedding dinner, and we got to have a taste of the sea-fare through a tour of shellfish for our appetizers. They provided professional bartending services, and our kitchen was always cleaned to sparkle when they left. We cannot thank the Buckleys enough for making our wedding weekend...
