Off Main — Local services in Tisbury

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, experience in this store “Vineyard Times”, in Vineyard Haven. The older lady at the check out is so rude. She yells at everyone even kids. I was buying a $2,500 watch for my father in law, I kindly asked if they could put the right time on it for me, and the lady said that she was not my maid and I should do it myself. She actually yield in front of everyone, she was so rude that other customers came to me and said that I shouldn’t buy the watch. I was almost crying I didn’t understand why she was acting like that. Another customer (a sweet lady named Anna ) came to help me, she didn’t let me buy the watch anymore, she said the lady was being rude to her too right before I went in. She decide to stay in the store and observe the way that lady was acting. Maybe she was having a bad day. But no, she’s just a horrible, rude, unhappy, ugly inside and out person. I left the store with 7 other customers that decided to support me, none of us bought anything! I will never go back there or recommend that...

We bought a sweatshirt for our daughter here and didn’t try it on. She decided to wear it the day we were leaving and realized she needed a different size. We figured we would swing by before getting on the ferry, only to find the shop was closed that day. We texted the number on the window to see if we could make the exchange by mail and the owner told us to give him 5 minutes. He came down on his day off to switch the sizes for us! The review from South Beach above is unfortunate, and incorrect. Off Main is a boutique store on Main St in Vineyard Haven (Martha's Vineyard) that has items from $.25 to around $200. No Watches in site! The reviewer obviously had the wrong store, and the review process only lets the store refute the review if you pay them for the site.
