Space Coast Bait & Tackle (Captain Hooks) — Local services in Titusville

Took a last minute fishing trip on 8/21/21 from west Orlando and stopped at Captain Hooks because on my route and was open (was about 7pm). I always try to use local baitshops to support them and I find them to be very helpful since they know the area. My rule for pretty much any business is that if they treat me like I'm bothering them by buying their bait and asking a few questions is that I will never use them again. CAPTAIN HOOKS is the type of shop that will absolutely get my return business. The variety of baits was tremendous and very alive/feisty despite it being late in the day. The setup for their tanks is amazing and is why the bait remain alive and full of vigor . Prices were reasonable. I wish I got his name, but the young fella working at that time could not have been more friendly and helpful. Since this was a hop in truck and just go type trip I hadnt done my typical research. No problem, this fella was more than happy to get out his phone and pinpoint some areas and suggested baits/lures. These are the things that keep me outta the chain stores and going to the locally owned bait shops. For an average fisherman like me, walking into a place like Captain Hooks reminds me of the way my Dad used to love going and hanging out with the fellas at the local barbershop for a while. Now I get why. So keep it up Captain Hooks!

I have not been asked to review Captain Hooks, dont own it and not getting anything out of this besides wanting to share my experience with other anglers (I rely on yours as well) and to support and recognize a great local bait shop...
