If you work with this company, you better hope they don't make a mistake or damage your property in any way, because they will lie and gaslight you over the phone, and refuse to fix anything or pay to have anything repaired.

One of the workers from Humphrey's, while rushing up our stairs with a 50lb full bucket of drywall mud, dropped it down our stairs--hacked up the stair, dented my front door, which in turn punched two holes in my walls. When we first got in contact with Humphrey's about this, they insisted the handle to the bucket broke, which it did not. As it was, my husband had been there and saw the whole thing--the guy dropped the bucket off his shoulder. Then, when we showed Humphrey's pictures of the not-broken bucket, someone from Humphrey's came to assess the damage, then proceeded to tell us it wasn't their problem, and blew us off. There was no attempt on their part to fix the damage they did.

A miscommunication between my nice general contractor and me led to a big, expensive problem involving the wrong style of interior doors purchased through Humphrey's Building Supply in Tiverton RI. Owner Scott Humphrey said he'd do his very best to help me in this situation but in a very considerate manner braced me for bad news: the door manufacturer almost never took back their doors, even unopened, still-in-original packaging, mint condition doors.

Scott was supportive, thoughtful, and positive, getting right into solving the problem - the best customer service ever. It turns out that it was also very effective customer service as, with Scott's intervention, the manufacturer will accept their doors back.

Building material and work supplies of all kinds . A little pricey. Seems to be only place in this area and they know it .. other than the price of things . It was clean and organized, and the yard help and security guard were nice and helpful . The building and bays are clearly marked , pull up, find what u need to put in truck an stop at security for a quick check and your off .. so overall was a great experience other than the price in the overall skeem of things just keeping it real...
