I hesitated to write this review. I’ve been coming to NTV for the last few years but lately the quality of service has come down and the prices keep going up. In the last couple of months, the prices have kept increasing each time I visit. Now I have to ask how much it’ll be before I get them done just to be sure. The last time I was there I got a polish change for my toes and a shellac manicure. The polish change cost me $15 and she didn’t even completely wipe off my old polish. I came with the polished removed but she slightly filed them and then dusted it off with a brush. There was still dust and polish left around the edges. I understand I didn’t get a pedicure this time but they didn’t even wipe the polish off completely. Then for the manicure, they charged me $5 to go from dip to shellac which also requires removal. Two of my fingernails were longer than the rest so I asked for them to be filed a little shorter but she refused saying the nail bed was too close. I have had my nails much shorter so I don’t know why this was an issue. She said I can file them myself and gave me the nail file. It seems wrong to have to file them myself when I’m paying to get them done and I only wanted them even, nothing dramatic. The rest of the appointment was awkward at this point. I liked coming here because it is close to home and they usually do a good job but their service has been mediocre lately. Sometimes they seem to not care and are rude to customers. I’ve been a customer consistently every 2-3 weeks for the last 6 months or so and the way they treated me was upsetting. I miss the days when Hannah was at...
Read moreNice people, horrible quality of service. Really don’t understand why the rating is so high. Went in for a refill with a friend and the woman working on me hit my hand with the file twice, she then passed me over to her coworker to get filed. My friends had finished her nails (also poorly done) and I was still getting filed. These were the thickest and messiest nails I’ve ever gotten. I immediately went to another place and paid for them to be fixed. The acrylic was all over my hands and my nails hurt because they were attached to my cuticle area. Shape was very uneven and because it took so long I didn’t get to have my nails painted how I wanted. My friend and i were both asked if we wanted just a clear coat over the acrylic, I found that odd but given the paint job we both received I should have just saved the time and gone with that. They offered for me to not pay because I wasn’t pleased but I felt bad and left them 20. My friend received $5 off but honestly, we both highly regret spending any money here and just felt bad. I don’t know how much experience the techs here have but the ones that day clearly seemed poorly experienced. I highly recommend you find another place. It is hard to believe the pictures online are there’s...
Read morePERFECTION doesn’t begin to describe Fox’s commitment to nails. I was referred to Fox by a friend, and I could never thank her enough! I stopped getting my nails done for almost two years due to the inconsistency among techs and salons. If I found someone I liked, they never stayed at a salon; many salons have hidden fees or constantly change them, and they aren’t upfront. You always seem to have the lingering “managerial” staff hounding them to rush through your appointment. You will NEVER experience feeling rushed with Fox! The meticulous craftsmanship he puts into his work is something I have not encountered anywhere else. During this last visit, Fox spent almost two hours on my nails, and you can see the love shine through in the picture. Pricing is incredibly reasonable for hand-painted designs and the time Fox spends with you. I highly recommend NTV Nails as your new forever salon, and if you love nail art, Fox...
