Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Spring

Raced to this store from across town. Was in the store 20 minutes before closing. Grabbed my son some school clothes real quick as I have been sick all week. was walking up to the register and it was two minutes past 9 the extremely rude lady says our system automatically shuts down at 9.no warning of this. Wouldn’t hold the clothes until 10am when they open for me to purchase. Extremely rude staff. Have shopped at many other Ross stores have never been treated that way at all. Had to watch my son be let down because he was finally excited he found some clothes in his size after we had already searched five stores. Contacted corporate office about this...

I wish I didn’t have to give them a star at all. I’ve visited this store three times and I’ve come to the conclusion that the first impression is always the most accurate one. The gives you the feeling that your business is unwanted. The first visit I looked passed the door greeter’s coldest and continued shopping until I couldn’t take it anymore and I put the items I had down. Given them the benefit of a doubt hey maybe the were over worked getting the store open. The second visit was quick in and out but ok. I find it unprofessional and unfair that when Ross has the biggest Sale of the year , that employees get to take everything to the side just for them. As a customer it’s no way that I should be able to witness baskets piled to the top with all discounted items for the employees. Like atleast leave some for paying customers ! I’ve worked at multiple retail stores and never witnessed that. If that’s the case why announce you’re having a sale if it’s only gonna benefit the employees!
