Absolutely recommended for retro game lovers!

I recently visited this retro video game store and was blown away by how well they preserve their games—especially the cartridges. Every single one I saw looked spotless, clean, and almost brand new, as if they had just come out of the original box. Their attention to preservation and detail is truly impressive.

But what really made me want to recommend this place was the outstanding customer service.

I brought two cartridges from my personal collection that I had purchased on eBay: Killer Instinct for the Nintendo 64 and Killer Instinct for the Game Boy. I didn’t have the consoles at home to test them, so I went to the store hoping I could try them out—and maybe find something else to buy.

The staff welcomed me with a great attitude and were genuinely interested in helping me. They handed me a Game Boy and let me test the cartridge right there, even letting me play for a few minutes. Then we moved on to test the N64 cartridge—but it wouldn’t load.

They didn’t just shrug and move on. Instead, they tried a quick cleaning, and when that didn’t work, they went to the back and brought out several cleaning products to give it a proper deep clean. I had honestly given up on it at that point—but after their effort, the cartridge finally loaded perfectly! I got to play it for several minutes too.

Isaiah was wonderful help! My husband and I had so much fun chatting with him about games. I had to come back two more times. I got home and realized I got the wrong charger. (My bad, I said I had a ds lite when in reality I had a dsi ) so I came back and got a new charger. Went home and they were not charging. Isaiah made sure to figure out what the problem was with his boss and although my dsi was fine my dsi XL has a bad battery and I’m leaving it with them to fix and exchange the battery in it! How kind of them! I’m so excited to get my dsi XL back and play games with my husband! They also have a crazy amount of cool stuff! All the old games and it brought back so many memories! This is such a fun place to go on...

Quicksave Games & Collectibles is hands down the best game store in Tomball, TX! This family-owned business is an absolute gem. They have an incredible selection of video games, collectibles, and trading card games (TCG) — it’s truly a gamer’s paradise. Whether you’re looking for the latest titles or something nostalgic, they’ve got you covered.

What really sets them apart is the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The owners and staff are super knowledgeable and always ready to help you find exactly what you need. It’s the only place I trust for my TCG needs — their stock and expertise are unmatched.
