My family and I tried this place out a few nights ago, after one of my aunts and cousins kept telling us about how good it was...... big mistake. Let's just start by saying as a restaurant, you should not re-use the Whole Foods water bottles, fill them with what tasted like city water and tell me it's Whole Foods water. Let me tell you, I drink the Whole Foods electrolyte water often, and the taste is very different from what was offered as table water and the bottles are not cloudy in appearance.
The next thing is there is one poor little hostess/waitress/table busser who works her ass off, and is not appreciated by the pompous bartender/boss. He stays behind the bar, except to bring food out to people sitting at the bar and brags about himself with all the bar patrons.
I ordered sangria, there was none already made, so the waitress asked him to make some more. 20 minutes later I do not have my sangria, so I ask her about it. Meanwhile, I am seated where I can see the bar area, and the bartender is chit chatting with everyone and not making the sangria. He finally makes it - some cheap red wine, some other mix and some simple syrup....the nastiest sangria I have ever tasted.
Needless to say the food was not any better. The pizza had soggy crust, and the very bland, tasteless pizza sauce that drowned the crust - well I have had Ragu and Prego that tasted much better. The meatballs and crab cakes (supposedly home made) tasted like they were frozen from CostCo or Sam's Club.
Paper napkins??? Really? Having a nicer, more upscale restaurant should have cloth napkins. The wine and liquor selections were not impressive. Where's the Grey Goose???
There were a few good things there: the waitress was fantastic. Her name was Kelsey. Kudos to Kelsey. The restaurant has a nice ambience. The Black Forest salad with the balsamic dressing was delicious. The bread they serve with the meatballs was delicious as well.
I am a foodie, and I appreciate fine dining. I also appreciate a good, greasy burger and fries. I enjoy fine wines and spirits, but I also enjoy an ice, cold beer. With that being said, I did not enjoy my meal at Bonfire Grill. In fact, the three of us commented on our way home, that McDonald's French fries and McNuggets would have tasted better
I hope that the "newness" wears off, they hire more help for Kelsey at night time and that they put a little more effort into serving a more upscale and tasty cuisine than what is...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Bonfire Grill, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an inviting ambiance that set the tone for the evening. The restaurant's cozy yet elegant décor created an atmosphere that was both relaxing and sophisticated.
The highlight of the evening, however, was not just the exquisite cuisine but also the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Ayden Mason. From the moment he introduced himself with a warm smile, it was evident that we were in for a memorable dining experience. Ayden's attention to detail and genuine passion for his role truly stood out.
Navigating the menu was a breeze, thanks to Ayden's extensive knowledge about each dish at Bonfire Grill. His recommendations were spot-on, and he was more than willing to accommodate any dietary preferences or allergies. It was refreshing to have a waiter who not only understood the menu but also took the time to understand our personal tastes.
As for the food at Bonfire Grill, every dish was a masterpiece in its own right. The flavors were harmonious, and the presentation was impeccable. The attention to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in each bite. From appetizers to desserts, every course was a delightful journey for the palate.
What truly made this dining experience at Bonfire Grill unforgettable was Ayden's exceptional service. He was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. His timing was impeccable; dishes arrived at the table just as we finished the previous course. Ayden's warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience.
It's rare to come across a waiter who leaves such a lasting impression, and Ayden Mason at Bonfire Grill is undoubtedly a gem in the hospitality industry. His professionalism, charisma, and dedication to ensuring our satisfaction truly enhanced our evening.
In conclusion, Bonfire Grill is a culinary haven that seamlessly combines delectable dishes with remarkable service. After eating lunch here several times with coworkers over the last month I decided that this place would be a cute date night location to bring my husband. We arrived around 7:00 and stood in the entryway without being greeting for almost 10 minutes. There were 3 other couples waiting as well. One couple walked out shortly after we entered because they were never greeted. The other couple waited in their awkward "waiting room" to be seated.
When a waitress finally came up we asked if there was a list that we could get on and she said "As you can see we are very busy. We do not have a list and the wait is close to 40 minutes I think" we were fine with that and asked if we could at least get a drink while we waited. She shouted to the owner who was bartending that we wanted a drink while we waited. His response "it's going to be awhile" uhhhh rude? While we were waiting at the bar the older blonde waitress was huffing and puffing that we were in her way and proceeded to tell us 'They were extremely short handed with only 3 people working and they have only been open 27 days'
In the last month I have been going in there for lunch I have been hearing that same song "sorry we are short handed" HIRE MORE PEOPLE THEN!!
While we finally got a seat at the bar 45 minutes after arriving I heard that same waitress tell another disgruntled customer that she couldn't ring in their food order still. They hadn't been ringing in food for at least an hour. I asked her how much longer and she gave me the same song "we are short handed I don't know" I asked her if she could find out and she huffed and puffed and went to the kitchen. The answer was another 10 minutes.
We asked to speak with the owner so we could express our concern with the type of service we were experiencing. Turns out he was the bartender. Very cocky individual all he could do was shrug his shoulders and hand us our bill. We felt very disrespected by his answers and his actions to us regarding the horrible experience. He told us that there was nothing he could do and we could go ahead and leave. Rude.
We will never go back to this establishment and we do not recommend it to anyone else. I'm sure if this is a standard for treating customers they will not be in business...
