Price/Value: The price was very reasonable! So reasonable, in fact, that I thought that the room might not be very good, but there were TONS of clues we had to follow. I did a room with 8 adults who had all done escape rooms before, so it was going to be hard to stump us, but with all the clues no one felt like they were useless! I'm excited to go back and try the other rooms because these ladies know what they're doing! Staff: Very friendly! We were welcomed and oriented by one of the owners, who was very happy to answer questions and make sure we were ready for the room. We did not feel rushed or bothersome. They also didn't withhold information when it was needed or give too many clues, as I've known some other escape room companies to do. Location: Super cute! I love the storefront, the rustic North Topeka vibe, and atmosphere. It has a fresh, put-together look without feeling out of place in NOTO's historic quality. Room: I appreciated the size of the room. With 8 adults, we could've been cramped, but the room was spacious without being too vast. The theme was also a lot of fun without getting in the way or requiring too much knowledge of science. There were costume pieces that could be worn that were fun, too!

Overall: I recommend this for anyone who enjoys escape rooms, and even newbies who haven't tried it before! Our office went to NOTO Escapes for a team building adventure. There were 14 of us and we divided up into two rooms. The Not So Chocolatey Factory and Escaping the 80's. The puzzles in these rooms were a great challenge for our little engineering firm! The design and room concepts are well crafted and we loved how Kelly and Hunter were so good at "reading the room" and knowing when to nudge us even when we were too stubborn to ask for a clue. Fun was had by all! We've all been talking about when we're going to go back and do it again because it really does encourage a lot of communication with your team. On the way home, we stumbled across NOTO Escapes located in a beautifully crafted district by local artists. Upon our visit, the staff were absolutely friendly and very passionate about their rooms. For the reasonable price, we decided to do both rooms. After trying both, it's recommended for both beginners and experts. I definitely love the theme and overall design of their Chocolate room and recommend for anyone with an escaping sweet tooth.
