As you approach the small market, you see history, nostalgia, pride in this long standing business. Walking into the small market you smell the fresh baked deli food filling the air, and the sound of great music. The jammed packed aisles of American known products alongside Authentic Mexican items gives you a sense of cultural awareness, and pride. With each aisle displaying as many products to all cultures, you sense a home cooked meal vibe. Each item next to other options makes it hard to choose, and the colorful rows of products makes you want look to see if you need something more. The produce area with its awesome smells of so many chille options and fresh garlic cloves makes you want to rush home and make a traditional pecadio salsa to along side the always perfect avocados they sell. With Onions, and radishes tempting your pallet, and taste buds watering, you are quickly distracted of the fresh smell of homemade flour tortillas.

Read more07/11/2023 I really have to do an updated review. The new owner's should have really left it how it was. I am not one to complain, but the biggest reason to go there, is order things that we normally couldn't get in the area. Now we are unable to. They also don't have WIC there either anymore. It was actually the best place to get formula when unable to at any other big retail stores. The updates in the store are very unreasonable, and said owner also owns several other buildings in our town, refusing the rent them out. And these places are ideal locations for new shops to open up. You could get a fishing license there, and so on. Read moreI was told that the one place that I had to go to in Toppenish was the blue sky market, and that was to specifically get their fresh made tortillas. It sounded crazy, but I respect the guy who recommended it, so I went. Twice. The first time I got a 10 pack of tortillas off the shelf, and they were really good. I snacked on them all the way back to Yakima. They are great by themselves, but would make tacos transcendental! The second time I visited I was in luck, they were being made on the spot! I asked for some fresh ones, and was given a 10 pack of tortillas that was too hot to handle! Not a single tortilla made it all the way back to Yakima.
