I had a vision in mind for a special day. My only brother got married!! My grandmother passed away a few months before the wedding that she was so looking forward to. As a tribute to her, and to bring her spirit to the wedding, I wanted to wear the dress she wore to my mother's wedding. Ultimately I was looking for the 2 piece formal suit that was elegant but maternal looking to become a one piece dress for a younger lady. Embodying her elegance and of course, keeping the same material she once wore. I was turned away by countless designers, telling me the fabric was "too heavy" or, what I want simply cannot be done. I found Rita on google and booked a consultation. Right away, Rita heard my story and assured me she could bring my vision to life... and she did just that. Not only did she take on the task but she did it with care. It was more than clear she genuinely understood how important this was to me and what the garment meant to me, and she treated it as if it meant the same to her. Consistent communication and fittings! She is so flexible and will squeeze in appointments or book a late appointment (or early) to work around your schedule. In such a short amount of time for such a big job. She made it so that it fit JUST right! It was more than beautiful, and crafted with so much care, incorporating essential pieces from the original...the flower, the button... it truly brought tears to my eyes and everyone who saw the final piece. Rita and her daughter Camila are a dynamic duo who are the best in business!! I would recommend for anyone looking for professionalism, perfection and STYLE - I am so so grateful and will be back again!...
