Harrison Bagels — Restaurant in Town/Village of Harrison

A few years later, I was unsure what to say when recently, and I mean, over the past few months, the store is not been getting orders correct or near ontime.

I place orders by 5:30 am for a 6:30 am pickup, and they are not even started( walking in at 6:29 and they lady tells me its not 6:30) she is very argumentative about anything another order I asked for 18 bagel and receive 13 bagels half of the cream cheese requested was missing and or in accurate, another order two sandwiches were missed and one was done in accurate. Each time the lady is at fault, I'm not sure why, and each time she has an excuses the orders are texted to you. READ THEM and provide what is asked. it is not that hard when something is wrong and it is texted. You can't say well; I thought it was 13. What about the other people? Oh well, we didn't charge for that; that is not the point.

I have never felt the need to leave a negative review, but both times I have been here the service has been awful. The workers were incredibly rude to myself and actually whistled for the guy behind me to step up to the counter. They were out of nearly all bread options (which is fine- I’ve worked in a restaurant before and understand inventory doesn’t always come in on time- especially on New Year) however when simply asking which options were left they appeared frustrated and inconvenienced for even being asked the question. The food is fine, but based on the two poor experiences I’ve had here I will not be back and would not recommend to anyone else. Plenty of other options in Harrison where the food is good and service is respectful. Hopefully just caught these guys on bad days, but if that’s how they regularly treat customers then they’re going to slowly but surely...

Amazing food!!! They have great bagels and many daily spreads to choose from. Also, great a la carte sides. I went with lox and scallion spread on an everything which was fabulous. She loved the cinnamon raisin bagel with the honey walnut spread. Daily made spreads. Also chicken salad and egg salad looked great too. Loved the coffee. I can’t say it enough, amazing staff. Hosting you into their place and just great. We heard about other places in area while visiting. We decided to go with the highest rated truly local spot and loved it. There are probably other places that focus on more exotic coffees or sweets. This is bagels with a lot of protein options cooked fresh. Cash only which is already spoken of no problem. Bagels...
