This place is the absolute worst!! I already knew I had Low T by the numerous blood tests run by other doctors. I went to Maze because I thought it was a great center for treatment which specialized in Low T. Well, all they are, are thieves. The quoted me $300 for the initial visit which I paid, but they fail to tell you they are going to charge you an additional $223.00 for "preventive counseling" which A) I didn't need and B) one would naturally think is included in the initial visit charge. Then they tired taking blood from me but couldn't find a vein. The nurse said we will try another time, but another guy came running out and wouldn't let me leave until I gave blood. This is all so they can bill you for their "in house" blood testing which your insurance will not cover. I was then charged hundreds for "nerve function testing" which I never received. I have racked up over $1,200 just for my initial visit with no treatment or other testing. I could of gotten the same blood testing through quest with a $20.00 co-pay. I realized treating Low T isn't rocket science. You give the patient supplemental T and monitor . This can be done by any competent Endocrinologist or Urologist for A LOT cheaper. My wife and I have been going through fertility issues due to a medical procedure conducted on me at a young age. We had been going through several years of disappointments and possible alternative means to obtain a positive pregnancy test. With the kind help of Dr. Werner and Dr. Keltz a procedure was conducted on me which allowed us to produce a positive specimen. We are currently waiting for our results but I can’t stress enough how wonderful and positive Dr. Werner has been. He is informative, patient, with a great sense of humor. He truly made this such a wonderful experience I would recommend him to anyone. His intellect is in a class of his own and his ability to relate to his patient really made this such a wonderful experience.
