I had an awesome experience with Sono Bello (Westchester Office). The staff was extremely friendly and professional. I had my initial consultation with Stella who was awesome to talk to. I know its hard for men to come to a body contouring specialist and have them examine their "problem areas", but I tell you it's just as common for men to have these types of procedures as it is for women. I have had two procedures done at this location. I'll try to give you a step by step of the process. I struggled with stubborn fat for most of my life. I have gone through all the typical weight loss regimen's, some more successful than others but I hated the muffin top and my chest and even my face. I went into for an initial consult where Stella examined the areas I wanted to get rid of and she then proceeded to tell me what my options were. There was never any pressure to have any procedure that I didn't want. I have never had any type of surgery before aside from a root canal so I was super excited but at the same time very reluctant once the day came to have surgery. Even though you're given a cocktail of medicine to relax you during the procedure (yes you are awake) The staff and the surgeons were so comforting. For my first procedure I had my chest, upper/lower abdomen and flanks done. The procedure took about 3 hours and I think going to the dentist is more painful to be honest. The most I felt was a pinch from the first needles to create the small incisions. I had 7 incisions total, two just under my belly on either side of my navel and one on each side just below my hips, one at the top of my navel and one under each breast. After I was numb, Dr. Wallach then proceeded to fill the areas with tumescent fluid which also provides anesthesia, decreased swelling, bleeding, bruising, and improves post-op recovery. I had to wear a compression garment for 3 months, technically you should wear for the entire length of the recovery but I did consistently for 3 months and then only when i went to bed. I am currently 4 months post op from that procedure. The second procedure was my chin & jowls, just a few weeks ago. That procedure I didn't feel a thing, and the incision was done just under the base of my chin which I can't even see it. The scars btw on my first procedure are fading, so yes they do go away. Anyway, If you have any doubts about having the procedure done... don't be scared to ask as many questions as you can. The staff and doctors are there to help you put your mind at ease. The front desk (Sheba, and Kristina) are so accommodating. Everyone at the Westchester office basically became my friends. That was the awesome part. I felt that comfortable with them. The nurses were exceptional as well. They took care of me before and after the procedure. I would recommend the Sono Bello experience at the Westchester Office to anyone. The only other piece of advice I can give you is to go into this with realistic expectations. This isn't a substitute for weight loss, it's to help with those problem areas. You're not gonna go in overweight and leave Heidi Klum or The Rock, although I wish that were the case. The best way to explain this experience is that it helps to jump loss your weight loss journey. When you can be realistic about your expectations then you'll be able to see the improvements to your appearance. If you feel a revision is necessary they will work with you on that as well. I am so pleased with my SonoBello experience at this location! I had 9 areas done. I had the Abex done and I couldn’t be happier. I am not even fully healed and I feel confident and bikini ready. I have had a long weight loss journey. After losing 140 pounds, I wanted to feel absolutely confident when looking in the mirror so I made my last “stop” on my journey at SonoBello in Harrison, NY. I am SO HAPPY that I went in for that consult! Best decision of my life! Now, keep in mind you don’t have to lose a ton of weight or have the perfect BMI to be a candidate for SonoBello. If I’m not mistaken, patients with a BMI up to 42 in some cases can get procedures done so don’t automatically think you can’t get anything done! Schedule a consult! The team here is amazing. I believe that good service and hard work should not go unrecognized so I am taking the time to write this review for that reason and for prospective patients. Narika ( I hope I’m spelling your name correctly) is so kind and courteous. Every time I go in, she treats me with like one of the girls. She is easy to talk to and has a warm personality. The RNs. Cathy and Maryssa are amazing! They are so helpful and knowledgeable! I feel so comfortable around them and can ask them any questions. They are literally my cheerleaders! I do not remember everyone’s name, but they are all FANTASTIC. As for my surgeon, Dr. Husaini, she is a legend. I mean, I am at a loss of words. She has amazing bedside manner. She has a kind heart. She is fantastic at what she does. She is honest, empathetic and has a heart of gold. I felt so comfortable with her. As I said, I am not even fully healed, but my body looks amazing. I am 3 days post opt from my procedure with Sono Bello Westchester and I cannot express enough how amazing this experience was! At the consultation Danielle customized the perfect package according to my needs. She was very thorough in explaining the entire process start to finish and very detailed in how each step would be carried out and what to expect.
