I've been having countless bad experiences when It comes to interactions with people on a regular basis here but today really made me feel as if I was being discriminated against.
I come to the gym on a consistent basis earlier than most people so that I can be out of everyone's way when I train and practice at the kickboxing bag located at the hiitzone, and the group fitness classroom when there are no classes taking place inside the classroom. I read all of the rules and regulations before I signed up for this location and I was apart of using my 3 day free trial.
On my first day of my 3 day free trial here, the gym made me feel uncomfortable when it came to people giving me dirty looks but on the same day a person had an accident and fell near one of the areas that I worked out at ,everyone around the area also had care and concern to check to see if she was ok. I made a mistake in generalizing that impression to be the normal at this location in which it's not.
Last night, I went onto the crunch fitness app to see the schedule for classes at this location to make sure that I don't intrude on the classes that will take place. I got here at opening and stretched for an hour to look at the time before i went to practice in the group classroom.
The group instructor rudely said that the class still had 5 minutes left to use the class space and I politely stated the time that it was to the instructor. I'm aware of the rule that a person is not to be in the group fitness classroom 5 minutes prior to the scheduled class but I wasn't aware in all of the locations that I've been to on the island where that applies for after a class has been completed at the time. I was also under the impression that no one was in the group classroom because all of the light were off. After I explained that I was aware of all of the rules mentioned here, the group fitness instructor began to change the subject and claimed that it's "only for fridays". The group instructor was also unaware of what time it was when I entered the group fitness classroom.
I come in early to try and have a positive attitude and to also stay out of everyone's way while I practice and train to Improve my physical and mental health. Experiences like this where I know I didn't make any mistakes discourages me from wanting to come back to this location.
I'm aware that none of the fitness spaces are my own and I always share the same spaces that I'm at with everyone but i feel as if the same notion cannot be said for...

Had to go into the establishment to cancel even though I signed up online.
Front desk was very nice, tried to get me to freeze the memebership instead of canceling to save me money but I knew I would just have to come back in 4 months to cancel anyway. Might have considered freezing if morning classes started before 8am but I'm already at my desk at that point.
I had to pay $59.99 for an annual fee to get out of the contract even though I never stepped foot inside the gym. On February 3rd, I was charged another monthly fee. I was still responsible for "dues" the following month because they have a "10 Day Cancel Notice" and I canceled on 1/27.
It cost me $123.97 to never go to the gym. Be VERY sure you want to go here because they will find a way to make you pay extra to leave. This was a good reminder that you are just a number to a business, they don't care about you or your...
