Computer Support Plus — Local services in Town of Bridgeport

I had a scheduled appointment today at 10:00 a.m. for an on-site visit to my home to fix a Wifi problem. I had spoken directly to the technician (Chad) yesterday afternoon when the appointment was made and asked that I be kept informed should anything change and he assured me that he would. 10:00 a.m. came and went. No call, no show.

At 11:24, I called Computer Support Plus to cancel my appointment and register a complaint with the store manager. It was then that I found out that the technician WAS the manager (but he was in the bathroom). I told the clerk that I wanted nothing to do with their business and finished the call.

Chad called me back almost immediately. After he offered his excuse on why he didn't text or call me to let me know he would be late, he even offered to fix my Wifi problem for free but I declined. Chad and I went back & forth for awhile but I wouldn't budge on my opinions about his lack of professionalism. He did say that he 'was tired of me beating him up' or words to that effect. One final parting comment he made was, "It is what it is."

I told Chad that I would rather PAY one of his competitors than allow him in my home for his "free" deal.

Way over priced cell phone accessories and FALSE advertisement. They are buying products in bulk and packaging them in other name brand packaging. Went down to get a tempered glass screen protector and was shown a supershildz brand package, and then was informed that it's actually not that brand, but some other brand that they buy in bulk and just repackage in the supershildz packaging for the display. I let them know this is FALSE advertisement and is not right! They are selling screen protectors for 30 dollars that you can get for less then 10 bucks on Amazon of the same brand oh and you get two through Amazon. The fella seemed very unconcerned about what they were doing, but did finally agree with me that it was wrong to be doing, his excuse was that they needed to be able to display their bulk protectors, but they hadn't made up there own packaging yet. Now I'm not saying that the protectors they are falsely advertising are cheap knock offs of the supershildsz, but ask your self, would you put a more expensive shield in a display case that sells for much less? I was told they pay 15.00 dollars a piece for them....I...

This place is TOP notch. Went in here because of needed a charger for my computer (left mine behind) and they didn’t have one for sale but gave me theirs and no charge! I’m not sure how most people do business but that knocked my socks off. It was a joy and refreshing.

Then the following week my husband needed a computer part and they had it in stock. They had never met my husband but still remembered me a week later.
