We wanted to go into the lobby to order. And Their hours state they are open until 12 AM. Nowhere does it state their lobby hours are different than drive through hours. Then we used their app. Which their app had to reload many times for this location. Which I don’t understand why that makes a difference? I have used @TacoBell’s app many times for other locations and don’t ever have a problem with it. When we get up to the window, staff seemed confused as to why we didn’t stop at the window to place our order or state why we were in line. (First time using app through drive threw) When I told them I had an order, they seemed pretty fussy that we didn’t say something at the speaker. Again the only customers in line currently, does it make a difference if we say we have an order at the speaker which we will then be told to go to the window? I then asked if I could order a 12 pack of Cinnabons because I forgot to on my order. (only being 10 pm at night and again, they close at 12 AM, I didn’t think this would be an issue) I asked if I could use my Taco Bell rewards code (like their signs say and the app says before you order and check out) and I was told since I wasn’t at the speaker and she already rang it threw as an order on the computer, that I could not use my rewards code. A little confused as to why, I said that’s fine. And told the people in the vehicle I was in, I would just upload the points later with the receipt. The staff then switched around who was working the window register so I wasn’t encountering the same girl that was taking my order. Instead she was filling the food bags. Food tasted good. I ordered 2 tacos, one soft shell, one double stacked (soft shell with hard shell inside) and unfortunately did not receive my 2nd taco. I don’t think this was intentional, as places miss some things some times. And at that point there was a second vehicle behind us. So another order to keep track of. This was my very first experience at this location. And I truly just would not recommend if you were looking for friendly uplifted staff, quicker pace, and would like your whole order. I’m just fortunate I was only missing one taco. And wasn’t told they were out...
Read moreOK, so our food was really good. It was super fresh. It was a little packed in there. They had everything they needed. I don’t know. I saw the review about the no tomatoes or whatever. Maybe they got a shipment in since then but they just opened up guys come on cut them a little slack. They’re brand new. They didn’t even have name tags on that’s how brand new these employees are so just you know be there with them be patient I ordered the supreme nachos and two of the crunch crunch specialty things they didn’t have onions automatically on them so I traded out the onions for sour cream that we only complete is that I had to pay for the sour cream on the side, which should’ve been in it, and I had to pay for the extra onions And you know granted they’re only $.80 apiece, but it all added up because I also got extra nacho cheese on the side, which wasn’t needed. Everything was nice and hot and fresh. It wasn’t overcooked now the Chalupa crunch or whatever that thing is the pizza crunch whatever that thing is I don’t even know what it’s called, but it was super good, but it could’ve been a little bit crispy or a little bit more in the flattener. You know the thing that Browns on the outside Britney was the one that made our food. It was me and my mom that wanted to try it out today and she was super awesome. Five stars to her OK cause it was super busy in there. She read the screen she did everything correctly. I watched her do everything never met the lady before in my life, but I just wanted to give her a little bit of kudos OK You guys are doing great. Keep up the good work. I just think that it was a really expensive for a $23 meal, especially when I had to pay extra for the onions you know what I’m saying but other than that I like the crew they were very professional. There was a lot of employees right down to the cashier. He was very helpful even though he didn’t really take my order. He just assisted me with the automated service, but if he wouldn’t have been there, it would’ve been a lot more...
Read moreWe'd never been to the Taco Bell in Prairie Du Chien, so Saturday on our way home, we thought we'd try it out. Now, we go into this know Taco Bell is not the best food, but still, we'll get a couple of tacos, some nachos with cheese, it will be fine.
It was not fine.
First, ordering at the drive-thru was not good. I'm not sure if the guy couldn't hear me, but there was a HUGE problem with communication. I ordered for my wife (Her order turned out as we'd expect), then my order. I wanted a soft shell chicken taco (got it) and an order of nachos. Apparently the menu has changed so as has he's asking me all these questions, I find the actual menu item: Chip with cheese sauce. I tell him, that's what I want, not something loaded with all sort of ingredients because I'm driving! He's said, "We'll take care of it". On the reciept, I got the loaded nachos, and it says "Cheese only". That menu item was much more expensive than my chips and cheese.
Then, my taco. Good grief. My wife starts pulling things out and there cabbage stuck to her wrapper, not a good sign. Apparently, they loaded my taco and threw it like a football into the bag. It was everywhere BUT in the taco. And to add insult to injury, the whole freaking thing was cold.
So, no, we will not be going to back to that Taco Bell and I would recommend you stay...
