The pricing: $2.25 per 25 minutes of wash ¢25 per 6 minutes of drying
The analysis/feedback: I frequently use THIS laundromat. I go about once a week if not every other week. That is what we call the STRUGGLE, I have no washer or dryer in my apartment (duh). If you are an introvert who doesn't want to interact with strangers (like yours truly), then this is the laundromat for you. It's very clean and open 24 hours with plenty of parking around the back side of the building. There are few fun thingymabobbers where you can purchase items like laundry bags and fabric softener sheets. In need of quarters? They have a change machine too!!! Now all of these are very positive things but let's get down and dirty (uh oh). There actually isn't really much to worry about. Every now and then there will be a few people inside so it's not 100% introvert friendly, it is a public business in a small town after all, there really isn't much you can do about that. This is not the reason for 4 stars. Sometimes when you put change inside the machines quarters get stuck. If you only put one in, the easy solution is to press the button and get the quarter back. The first time this had happened to me I put 3 or 4 MORE quarters inside until I realized I jammed it (I'm sorry). This next thing doesn't bother me but for a RATHER critical analysis of this location I believe it is worth mentioning. The washing machines have a rubber seal, I always check inside this rubber lip so I don't lose small articles of clothing like socks. When you peel back the lip you are greeted by sTRaNge hair, dirt, and various foreign things. In my opinion, ignorance is bliss on this occasion. Don't let it fool you.
The Village Laundromat establishment is very clean and welcoming. They also give access to a trash bin as well as recycling. There are also a few benches, books/magazines for reading while you wait if you choose to stay on the premises, as well as a table for folding if you'd like to do that there as well.
Thank you for your services, God speed.

Read moreMost of the dryers are broke, as are many of the washers. The dryers that do work, you can see a flashing yellow/orange flame in back that comes and goes, so I'm guessing they aren't getting a good burn on their gas dryers, or there's a bunch of lint. Seems like a fire waiting to happen, and nobody appears to be fixing or maintaining anything. Never going there again.
In the photos included you can see the flame...
Read moreAs far as laundromats go, this one isn't' bad. There are a few that seem broken that haven't been fixed in several months, but the place is usually fairly clean and quiet. Nothing fancy, but it does get the job done. The machines are a little pricey to me but could be worse, and I do think that $3 and $4.50 is probably comparable to other washing machines but still seems pricey to me. But it is a decent...
