Broadalbin Diner — Restaurant in Town of Broadalbin

Great little diner! We eat here often. Sometimes takeout, sometimes sit down. Everyone is always super nice. There's a cooler up front with some desserts and drinks. I'm a big fan of the Dygert Mocha, but they don't always have it. I haven't had a bad meal there. Everything has been great. We've had banana cream dessert cups, cannolis, macarons, omelettes, waffles, pancakes...all great. There's limited parking in the lot, as it's shared with tenants of the building. There's a reason this place has such high ratings. I had to find out why. Food is done so well. I had the beer battered fish sandwich. Not greasy, delicious. Daughters had omelette and Irish Benedict breakfast (with hollandaise sauce). Everything is perfectly cooked.

Service was super friendly, engaging. Becky genuinely cared about each of us, including the extra vanilla creamers. We are lifelong Becky fans!

Prices are reasonable.

Environment was good, classic diner vibe. The coffee was old -- not ashy or sour, just dull and tasted an hour or so old. My waffle was difficult to cut and harder to chew, guessing extremely overmixed. My wife finished most of her omelette but didn't find anything nice to say about it. Hashbrowns were... unusual (?), maybe undercooked? Both of our orders...
