East End Tattoo of Patchogue — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

After moving to patchogue a few years ago and looking for a new tattoo shop, I spoke to an artist here via Instagram named "Stokes "I was looking to get a tattoo above my eyebrow so I called 1st and got "Stokes " he told me to message him on IG with what I wanted and stop in the following day. The next day I came in,and was ignored completely by "Stokes" the only "greeting" I got was him dismissively waving his hand at me as he tattooed someone else, basically implying me to wait. He did not even look at me once. 45 minutes later I was still standing around awkwardly, feeling like I wasn't welcome. I nearly walked out after an hour till a friendly female artist named Stevie asked me what I was looking to have done, I told her and she excitedly asked if she could do my tattoo. Long story short she did a beautiful job on my tattoo in under 15 minutes. That was over 2 years ago and I've been back to Stevie for a septum piercing that came out/healed great and for numerous tattoos from Marc who is the sweetest, coolest tattoo artist with a great taste in music, lol. Marc is awesome with cover ups and coming up with great ideas for my tattoo ideas. He's also very cool about touch ups that be may need it after a tattoo has healed. I think I've had more of my dream tattoos come to life in the last 2 years than I have in nearly 20 years thanks to the reasonable prices. Marc and Stevie are my favorite artists, and I'm pretty heavily tattooed and pierced and have been getting tattooed/pierced since I was a teen in the 90's so that's saying a lot! Definitely thankful for Stevie being so welcoming and accommodating during my first visit,otherwise I likely would have walked out with a bad impression of this place, and incredibly grateful for an artist like Marc! Will continue to come here for...

DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE. I had my conch piercing done today by the female piercer and honestly, it was traumatic. They have no jewelry selection and I was forced to be pierced with a horseshoe (who even doesn't that). It wasn’t until my friend who came with me looked at it in the car after it was all done and said “it looks really small for your ear, something is wrong”. I was in tears. It wasn’t what I asked for, or wanted. Scared to go back inside and be poked at more, we went down the road to a tattoo parlor we have been to plenty of times (the name rhymes with Liff’s) and the piercing artist there took me in immediately after I explained my situation - so upset - and couldn’t believe what she saw. The conch piercing was practically IN MY HEAD. The girl at East End Tattoo pierced it on such an angle, that it was coming out of where my ear connects to my head. It should come out straight from where it goes in on the front of the ear. This was not even CLOSE to where it should’ve been. I wish I was exaggerating. The piercing artist at “Liffs” told me that in all her years of piercing, she had NEVER seen anything like that. My piercing was so wrong it had to be removed and given time to heal. It couldn’t even be re-pierced or fixed. I am beyond disappointed with my experience at East End Tattoo and will NEVER recommend anyone go here. If I didn’t live so far away, I would’ve demanded...

Amazing shop with outstanding service and talent. I just got a large portrait done to cover up an old tattoo and words can’t describe how amazing it turned out. Olka was my artist and I would recommend her to anybody and everybody. I received SO many compliments on my new artwork. I am absolutely coaxing all my friends and family to go to that shop. The atmosphere is very calm and clean. The owner Jon is always around and available as well. I always got my tattoos done from Tattoo Lou’s when they were in business and to be honest, I wasn’t 100% happy with the results of every tattoo. Also, the ink would repeatedly fade during the healing process and I would need constant touch ups. This was with me taking excellent care of the work that was done. I did NOT have that problem at all with this shop. In fact, my artwork healed so well that it hardly went through a peeling/scabbing phase. I’m definitely looking forward to going back there in the future. I HIGHLY recommend everyone goes here. East End Tattoo is the ONLY place...
