We went to Fire Island -very nice beach -although the part where we were there was no cost guard (be careful the waters are trickier than expected lol). If you can, make your way to Sunken Forest (don't miss it) and bring your food and water -AND cash (we didn't buy anything since there are little to no stores on the vicinity and we brought along everything we needed, so I cannot comment on prices). Bring along a backpack (not an oversized one otherwise you'd have to pay extra on the ferry...

Great service that operates on time. The staff are quick and helpful and assist in organizing the valet car pickup (that is required at Gate/Terminal 2). Seating is available above and below-deck.

COVID- related: most staff weren't masked and despite signs stating that masks were required, most people didn't...

I love fire island and often take my boat and stay but u dont need a boat as it has ferries and water taxis...gives any beach place a run ...during the season and i do mean any beach...
