Ocean Bay Park Market — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

How does one give 0 stars?! Been coming here for years and after my last encouter - I will never return. Talk about the MOST rude group of kids you will ever meet. Went with our friends who were visiting out of town and were mortified to bring them to this establishment.

Our bagel order was given away after standing outside - unwillingly in the rain - to wait for 25 minutes. After approaching the “manager” she threw my ticket in my face and said it was made - but clearly given away and “not their problem”. She was so incredibly nasty and HOW she earned the title of management is not only shocking but insanely embarassing. She then proceeded to tell me to “get out, if i don’t like her attitude" and had a co worker chime in screaming "have a great day"' as i made my exit. Mind you, I am only 7-9 years old then these kids. Just proves why this generation has the rep that they have.

Get some older staff who actually show respect and decent customer service - idk...

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Ocean Bay Park Pantry and was very impressed by the exceptional service provided by Luke and Hannah. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us and made us feel so welcome.

Hannah patiently helped me go through the sweatpants to find my size and was so nice. Luke was equally friendly and efficient ringing up my order. They both were so happy and eager to assist us!

The most expensive groceries anywhere in the known universe. I have never paid so much in my life for food staples, not in London, not in Oslo, not in Tokyo. And the groceries they sell are mediocre quality. Mr. Coffee filters, a quarter pound of ground coffee beans and a package of Pepperidge Farm for $50?! You’ve gotta be kidding me. Not to mention the $90...
