Champlain Ace Hardware — Local services in Town of Champlain

We drove from deep Clovis because we had heard this was an excellent Ace.

However when we went to check out, nearly every item was priced incorrectly and we had an extra $60 item we did not have scanned in.

Price integrity, correct signage/ product placement is important. Out of the roughly 8 items we had only two were priced correctly, the rest where $5 to $20 more than the posted tag. Our total was $90 more than what we had anticipated. We noticed a tag on the counter that the young man had accidently scanned so that added the $60. No effort was made to do a price check and or ensure the product was properly placed or fixed for the next customer.

We ended up not purchasing any of the items. I gave 3 stars because all the employees (with the exception of the cashier as he seemed irritated that we questioned the initial extra item he accidently scanned.) were super sweet, welcoming and helpful. The store was...

No matter what I need or problems solving ideas ace is the place! I love the knowledgeable staff always there to help even if you don’t buy anything in the store. Few years ago my battery died the gentleman drove me to the auto parts store down the road to get me a new battery and even helped me install it with his tools.
