I'm updating my review after a much better experience, but I was initially very disappointed with the pharmacy. When my doctor sent in my prescription, it wasn't filled for four days because my insurance wasn't on file, even though I could have paid out of pocket. After trying to call and being on hold for over 15 minutes, I drove there only to be told it would be another 90-minute wait. To make matters worse, an employee quoted me the wrong price, insisted I was wrong, and even claimed my doctor didn't know how insurance works before admitting the medication was actually a $0 copay.
However, I've had a much better experience recently. The staff in the convenience store are always great, and I had a very positive interaction with two helpful and kind pharmacy employees who work later in the day. I'm raising my rating to three stars because of this. One thing I found concerning was seeing a new Google business profile for this location. It looks like the old one, with a 2.5-star average, might have been abandoned. Creating a new profile to start fresh with reviews seems deceptive and doesn't make me feel like the business values...
Read morePharmacist and staff needs to be checking and rechecking medications, I was handed someone else's medications today even after the clerk verified my Husband's date of birth with me. I realized that it was the wrong name on the slip as i was leaving and went back to tell them. They didn't seem real concerned about the error. I made it real clear how upset I was, and how bad this could have been if we missed it too and my husband took something that wasn't meant for him. I didn't even get so much as an apology from the staff or pharmacist. I have noticed alot of errors in the last several months, very unorganized etc, but this could have been life threatening and this needs to be Addressed and fixed immediately! My medication is never ready when it it supposed be and it’s medication I need to take everyday one of the ones that say don’t stop taking abruptly. Yesterday my doctor sent it in and today I’m supposed to pick it up and I’m told I can get it until tomorrow at 3pm that’s 2 days without my medication. Another one of my medications they kept telling me they didn’t get authorization for 3 weeks they told me this. I went to my doctor and she said that makes no sense here is the authorization from your insurance dated 2 weeks ago! Horrible horrible service they don’t care about people...
