It's a nice place, nice driving range, beautiful mini golf course, it's very beautiful facility. But last week when I went for the first time, the older guy running the proshop was EXTREMELY RUDE. It seemed like he was just being rude to me and my girlfriend in perticular. He was short and had an attitude with me and my girlfriend. I am a very avid golfer, and asked him simple questions. I asked him "hey, how are these Wilson chaos golf balls?" To wich he replies "I DONT KNOW!" As I brushed the very rude way he responded, I asked "well are they softer or harder half balls, I like to play a softer ball..." Again he snapped at me saying "I DONT KNOW THEY ARE GOLF BALLS!". Now I was getting upset, I just payed for minigolf with my girlfriend and continued my day. Before we started I asked where I could put my bag of clubs while I play minigolf, he said "I DONT CARE". Now I'm getting upset, I replied very sarcastically "Thanks sooooo much man you have been a great heeelp." He just stayed "YOUR WELCOME" amd that's the last I cared to see this man. Also when I was waiting to pay for minigolf he was being very nice to the gentleman picking his clubs up from repair or whatever the case, this is why I'm upset with this driving range. I do have to say that the facility is gorgeous and very well kept though. Two stars because of the man with the horrible attitude at...
Read moreThis was my first time to Green Acres. The Specialty Parfait caught my attention and it did not disappoint! Their custard is amazingly creamy, beyond description. I'm a cookie dough conneissuer and this parfait was delicious: starting traditionally w/a twist ice cream w/the cookie dough pieces, then hot fudge, whipped cream drizzled w/chocolate syrup. I was genuinely intimidated by all the richness filling me up taking away from the focus of my desire - the cookie dough, but I took the plunge and it was so very very good 😊 Not as rich and ridiculously filling as I initially feared. It was honestly perfect! The line was quite long on this opening day, but it moved very fast. The staff were pleasant and organized. A ton of people, especially young couples, we're playing mini golf. They have an adorably decorated, perfect for "date night" mini golf course. The driving range was busy too. Parking was great though. No issues at all. I highly recommend checking out Green Acres. I'm completely sold. We will be visiting regularly...
Read morepretty good mini golf, great music, but the only bathroom on site is a gross portapotty.
I'm in a wheelchair - we basically had to beg the lady to let us use the staff bathroom (which is relatively accessible), she didn't even want to admit it exists, and said they'd never had a wheelchair user ask for a bathroom before. (likely because disabled people are less likely to go places that are inaccessible!) Not making the accessible-ish restroom available to customers is pretty shameful for a company that claims to be a proud member of Disabled Veterans of America.
accessibility-wise, there are a lot of 2-3” curbs to get over on the golf course, astroturf, and bumpy little hills. there are also some narrow areas, but I fit okay in my 18" seat tilite...
