Says they will work with you but obviously they don't. I've been going here for years I usually do scrap aluminum but every once in awhile I'll do regular sheet metal scrap. I still would go there everytime even though Niagara metal is closer and has better prices on everything bc I like the guy would works in the aluminum dump spot he's cool. Went in with just some regular scrap that was in total 660 pounds. I saw a small tool box with some random sockets on the ground (I like old tools) I picked it all up and was going to ask the office if they would let me take this 20 pound tool box if they don't pay me for the 660 pounds of scrap I left (I got 40 buxs for it which is a rip-off btw). Before I could even do that the owner I think came over and instantly started calling me a thief and being very arrogant. Not like I was being sneaky or anything. He could have simply said we don't do that (btw they let me do this once before some years back) and just been more friendly. Don't make the same mistake I made by thinking there more of a...
Read moreWebsite states they will do their best to get you the most money for your scrap. Flat out its far from the truth in my experiences. I feel like I've always been short changed at Twin Village and this going back 15 years. I believe Niagara Metals does a better job helping separate the precious metals when it’s not too much of a hassle. I understand that precious metals should be separated in different containers but when they’re big and easily identified pieces of metal they should be counted differently. It may only be a difference change or a couple bucks but it matters to the scraper. Especially if we are talking large amounts that could add up to huge losses. I give two stars for being open a tad later on Saturday than Niagara, having a reward point system, and having a drive in place thats easy to unload for precious metals. I recently visited and thought to give them another chance since their price was a tad higher for wire scrap than Niagara. Feeling ripped off and I won’t be going again if I...
Read moreTerrible customer service, the guy who was supposed to put the stuff on the scale made me do it which I didn’t mind but he seemed very angry, when he told me to put the various types of metals in the bins, he said put in that one and was rude about it and he seemed very impatient and when i was unloading he was saying Next Next, implying me to move faster, I could understand if it was busy and if there was a line of cars but i was the only one unloading at the time. He never smiled once which isn’t good customer service, when I worked at Walmart I smiled at everyone which in effect hopefully made their day better. I was there today at 2pm. And aren’t the commercials implying that there are “hot women there” but noooooo all there was was angry annoyed and depressed mainly old men there what a disappointment!!!! That’s false advertising, and clickbait at it’s finest, No wonder why they look like they’re about to punch you, it’s probably because there are no...
