Lake Effect Liquidation — Local services in Town of Cheektowaga

I don’t see a lot of reviews for Lake Effect Liquidation and I’m unsure if it’s because it’s a hidden gem or because people simply don’t want to spread the word on how amazing this place is. Firstly, the owners were extremely friendly and helped us out with everything we were looking for from the start. Secondly, they have so much to shop through. I originally came expecting to spend fifteen to twenty minutes max, but we ended up staying for well past 90-minutes. And lastly, and probably most importantly, this place is where bargain hunters come to shop. Seriously, we got items worth several hundreds of dollars for a quarter of the price. We honestly had to fill two separate cars with how much stuff we bought and it didn’t even break the bank. Highly suggest if you’re in the area or if you’re willing to travel a small distance...

Honestly have no idea how this place has 5 starts other than the fact they pretty much bribe you with a free item for leaving a positive review. I got something from hibid auction and the description says no damage but after I had picked up my item after driving hour and a half to get it, I make it back home only to find that there's multiple broken pieces and the way it was packaged is ridiculous. Almost like they intentionally did it that way . And of course when I mentioned that it was damaged and unable to be used, it must be my fault and there's no refunds. Just another bum with a warehouse selling people's thrown away junk . I would highly recommend staying away from this place and all the misleading reviews so people can get they're free item...

I won a few items at their Fourth of July Blowout online auction. The sale had a wide variety of items available including housewares, toys, tools, and electronics. I was running late to pick up my items on the last available day, and I sent an email as I was running out the door. I also had my girlfriend call and they told us it would be no problem. Cody was there when I arrived, and was friendly and helpful. He set about collecting my items from around the warehouse, and pointed me toward the $5 bargain bin which held an interesting assortment of bargain items.
