Mighty Taco — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

Once again, come here. Even though I've had multiple issues in the past. This time I'm about to call the health department. Came here tonight 8/12/24 around 9:15. Not a single soul changed their gloves. Kid at drive thru touched multiple people's money. Then made drinks. Handed them out. Did the same with mine. Dude in black shirt (really hope it wasn't a manager) I witnessed him TWICE scratch his facial hair and neck WITH GLOVES ON and didn't bother to change his gloves. Absolutely disgusting and horrifying. I'm afraid to even eat my food because of how unsanitary this is.

I was also here not even a few weeks ago and also put in a complaint to the mighty taco website about one of the employees making his food for break on top of the wrappers being prepared for my food while slathering his food with sauce!! This is crazy! I don't know who is running the store but fix this! You can see the man on camera touch his face twice with those gloves and then touch people's food!

You guys were so good when you first opened and the last few months it has absolutely been downhill. The kid at the window didn't even say thank your or have a nice day or anything just handed my food and closed the window. I didn't even mention anything about the gloves or nothing. They were too focused on giggling and laughing when I was placing my order too where I had to repeat myself a couple of times. The customers need to come first and I used to be a manager at a fast food place for over five years. All of this is absolutely unacceptable.

Update: I cannot believe the response that was given! You're going to expect me to come back after what I witness happen on the night shift? This BARELY ever happens for me when I come there on the day shift. The day shift actually cares and gets my order right! Night shift they are just messing around doing nothing. None of those employees CARE enough about being trained or else they'd care about the safety of others to begin with! And the kid in the window was the one who literally made his food for break on top of thr wraps being prepared for my food the last time! I can clearly see nothing has changed with him after my last review! I even mentioned him by name when I left my last review to the actual mighty taco website. He was as rude as ever just like the last time! And that dude in the black shirt (white guy, some facial hair) literally kept touching his face and scratching his neck. I looked RIGHT AT HIM from the window doing it. He made eye contact with me. This is seriously horrible!!

It seems to me the cameras need to be reviewed more than just whenever a problem arises! Because I know this isn't the first time something similar has happened because this is the second time this has happened to me! Watch your night shift when it's all the young kids and you'll see what I'm talking about. Clearly the manager at night could care less. It all starts...

I have tried several times to give this place a decent chance but they aren’t trying like the other Mighty Taco restaurants to do things the right way. If they train and supervise their employees they could have a chance of having a lucrative business. They have a great location. Once in a while they do things right but then they revert back to their old ways. Well it’s another day. I guess this place will never learn. They’re getting too comfortable. Today I went for lunch. I have COPD and ice in my drink triggers it so I asked the tall guy on the register for a Pepsi with no ice. He gives me a look with attitude and gives me a cup half full of Pepsi. He probably thought I was trying to take advantage but it was only because of my COPD. Well because of this guys attitude that half of cup of Pepsi will cost this store owner a lot because I eat out A lot. Worst location by far, I have given it three trys on my lunch break, every single time the employees are rude, and mess my order up really bad, first two time I ordered 3 cheese burritos, no salsa, hot suace, got it with no sauce and salsa on it, today I go for lunch; no one in the drive thru, order my 3 cheese burritos no salsa with extra hot sauce; and a hard shell mighty extra hot sauce; what I got was 2 beef and cheese burritos, no sauce at all, and 1 soft shell mighty no sauce at all, wasting money eating here, an absolute joke of a restaurant

Edit: To whoever responded, if you read correctly you would know that on the day of my review, the problem was no hot sauce, the salsa issue was from a previous encounter... bad service and no reading...
