After struggling for years with sparse brows from over plucking and thyroid issues, I’ve now got the most beautiful brows I could ever have hoped for thanks to Rose at Ink Lab! I had heard about microblading but was afraid of it. I’d heard it was horribly painful and some had bad outcomes so I stopped looking into it because who wants that? But we women talk about everything beauty and Rose’s name kept coming up as being the only one you should ever see if you want your brows done and done perfectly! “There’s no one else you should go to”, I heard, “The Queen of Brows”, someone else said. So I looked her up, and the brow examples on her site were beautiful and the explanation of what to expect was very thorough. I booked a consult and after meeting Rose, so beautiful, kind and warm, I felt trusting of her before she even did the mock up in our consult, but once she did and showed me what they would look like, I cried, they were so beautiful! I booked my appointment but before I went, someone told me how painful it it was going to be and even encouraged me to cancel! They did not go to Rose but had it done in another state. On the day of my appointment, I told Rose about it and let her know I felt nervous. She was amazing. She explained why maybe some people have that kind of experience depending on who is doing the procedure for them, but she didn’t have clients who felt that way. Rose even just did a couple of strokes when it was time to begin to let me see how it felt. I could hardly believe it. It felt like a tiny scratch and not painful at all. Slightly uncomfortable for one second perhaps when the stroke is first made, but that quickly evaporates. The numbing cream beforehand also makes it pretty much painless. All I kept thinking was, I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the people who discouraged me from doing it. My brows are extremely beautiful now thanks to Rose - who is clearly one of the most talented artists at her trade! Truly the “Queen of Brows”, just like someone said. People comment on my brows and tell me how beautiful they are and even better, I wake up every morning now with brows! I throw on lipstick and blush, and I’m out the door. If you are considering micro blading, I would tell you to run, not walk to Rose @Ink Lab! You won’t regret it! It has changed my life! No more eyebrow pencils and pain staking time in the mirror trying to make them look perfect, only to have them come off with sweating, exercise, swimming or rubbing my forehead. First impressions are everything and when you walk into The Ink Lab, Rose's passion is apparent in every square inch of the studio. It is impeccably clean, organized and beautifully designed. After spending a lot of time researching microblading artists in the area, I knew Rose was who I wanted to book with and she is absolutely worth the wait!

My brows were waxed at a very young age and never fully grew back in, leaving thin and sparse areas. I had been filling them in with powder for over 20 years and wanted to simplify my morning routine. I had my consultation with Rose and we decided that combo brows were the best option to achieve the results I was looking for.

During my first appointment, Rose made me feel comfortable and at ease. She is an extremely personable and down to earth professional who explains the entire process and aftercare thoroughly. I was worried that microblading would be painful, but I didn’t experience any discomfort. Once my brows were completed, it just felt like a slight sunburn when I’d furrow my brow which didn’t bother me at all. After about 7-10 days, there was some flaking which wasn’t noticeable enough that it made me feel like I couldn’t leave the house. I kept my brows clean and moisturized with the ointment provided and by around day 20-23, they looked great!

After a couple more weeks, I was fully healed and able to have my touch up appointment. I felt much better going in the second time knowing what to expect. The healing process took even less time and I’m blown away by my results! My goals were to fill in the sparse areas and have a more even/symmetrical shape and Rose helped me achieve that. I walked out feeling confident and thankful that I found such a fantastic artist. It’s such a relief to no longer have to deal with the hassle of applying makeup to my brows in the morning or after a shower. I was so happy that when I got home I threw out my brow powder and brush. I can finally leave my brows as is! They frame my face perfectly, the color is spot on and best of all, they look NATURAL. This is truly one of the best investments I’ve done for myself. So I will start by saying what an incredibly sweet person Rose is. She made me feel right at home and was so friendly and sincere. I had previously gone to a somewhat well known business in Williamsville for nanobrow. Ladies I FULLY believed the hype on the nanobrow and how it was going to last me 3 years. Well it was a very poorly done job and didn't last a full year. When I questioned why the shading part of the combo brow I chose wasn't done I was told it was because she did what was right for my face. Yet I didn't get a refund for the difference of the regular brow compared to the combo. Then she wanted to charge me $125 to fix what wasn't correct from the start!! I then found out that I was not the only one to have that reaction. It wasn't my skin type or me not following the after care instructions (which I did to a t) it was full out a HORRIBLE job done by the Brow technician. Who was also the owner. I can't speak enough to the difference of the microblading compared to nanobrow. If you are debating please take it from me that NANO IS A NO NO! I got the combo brow from Rose and OMG I'm IN LOVE with the outcome! I have beautiful hair strokes AS WELL AS the shading to make them full and filled in. The Ink Lab is extremely clean. The staff was very pleasant as well. Rose took time to explain evey step of the process and how to take care of the brows after. She is a master at her art. I'm telling you ladies this is where you want to go. After my bad experience I looked for 3 years to find someone that had the correct attention to detail and man did I hit the jackpot!
