This is the Best NY/NJ style pie in Western New York. The crust has the most perfect crust and flavor. Even my daughter who hates Crust ate every last piece. The mushrooms were fat and fresh. My only critique which is personal preference is I wish they used white onions instead of red ones. The sauce had the perfect balance of zest, tang, flavor and acid. The cheese amount was perfect.
This place was so good I went 2 days in a row and both times were outstanding. The owner was there making sure the pues were in proper rotation and perfectly tossed/stretched than cooked. This is a bit of a drive for me but you want to taste a pie that isnt covered in grease you will love this place. I can barely enjoy more than one slice of Buffalo Pizza because it makes me feel sick. I could easily eat a half of one of their large pizzas and not feel gross. I didnt get to try it but I heard the "Grama's" pie is out of this world. There was 2 slicea when I went in the first day but they got bought quickly. If you see a rectangle cut pie grab it and ask the owner to tell you how its made. I can't describe the recipe but its multi step recipe I hopefully get to try next visit!
Check it out I promise your taste buds will thank you and so will your stomach. I cant vouche for anything besides plain cheese. Cheese with chicken cutlets on it and...
Read moreBeing a lifetime lover of 'za, my bachelor party dream was to pizza crawl all my favorite spots in Buffalo and the first on that list was Brooklyns finest. We had an amazing experience, we placed our order for three grandma pies 20 minutes before arriving and upon walking into the closest experience to a NYC slice shop I've seen in Buffalo, we could see Sam behind the many incredible slices on front view, putting the finishing touches on our first bite of the evening. It was definitely going to be one of the top bites that day too, the pizza had amazing flavor in the sauce and crust! The grandma pies were thin, crispy and light enough to have 4 slices and still keep on going! Whenever I have a Bills game or get together, everyone jumps off the couch for Sam's pizza when I walk in and new comers that haven't been enlightened yet swarm me to learn where they can get this amazing slice of New York City. Sam is an awesome pizzaiolo and puts his love and life into the art. He's fast, conscious of everything going on and still has the heart to ask how your day is going and connect with each person walking in. We had a blast and if I had the metabolism to keep the extra inches off the waist line for the wedding, I would be at Brooklyns everyday. Thank you Sam for the awesome experience, we...
Read moreLet me just say what delicious pizza! I had the 2 slice lunch special and ordered cannoli for dessert. There was no room left for the cannoli!Yum. 😋
So, my slices were margherita and pepperoni with banana pepper. I'm sad to say that there is no picture of the margherita slice because I DEVOURED IT IMMEDIATELY! It had a nice crisp crust, a bright tomato sauce, and the perfect amount of fresh mozzarella and basil. It was absolutely wonderful. My pepperoni and banana pepper slice was great too, the perfect amount of sauce with a clean tomato flavor...it wasn't sickeningly sweet like so many places in the WNY area. I could also tell this was quality cheese. When I asked about it (I love cheese!) I was told they shred it themselves which means none of those anti clumping additives. There was a generous quantity of pepperoni and so many banana peppers! Finally, a place where you can have toppings in every bite!
My cannoli for dessert had to come home with me because I was stuffed, but the staff were so friendly, they boxed them up for me without any hesitation. They were also delicious when I had my late night snack that night, BTW!
The dining room was bright and clean, and there were two huge TV's to catch me up on the week's football standings! I have no...
