I was very displeased with the service I just received at the sub shop at Wegmans on Dick Rd. I too work in customer service located near the Wegmans so I understand the importance of good customer service. Initially I asked the young female worker with glasses and blonde hair if she could change her gloves. I got an eye roll and body language as if it’s a problem and it didn’t stop there the way she put the tuna on bread I just asked if she could make sure there was some at the end she proceeded to say it would be extra. I asked if she could spread it all over and that was a mistake because she started smashing it into the bread as if that was a problem. I asked if my sides could be on the side and she proceeded to give me 2 packs of Mayo for 2 large subs and when I asked for more she gave me 2 more. I’m not sure if she was having a rough day but it shouldn’t be taken out on the customers. Now on the other hand when I come during lunch there’s a nice worker when I ask to change her gloves the response I get is”no problem sweetie” this ladies customer service is awesome every time I’m in there during the day! Never in my life when getting subs from Wegmans I’ve ever been limited to 2 Mayos for a large sub. She needs to be retrained in how to deal...

Let me start by saying this is not a grocery store, but an experience. My husband and I were visiting from the West (Las Vegas) and we would have to go to 4 or 5 stores to get the selection and quality you have in one store. The hot bar was amazing. The pizza, sandwiches, and pre-made selection made me wish we didn't have dinner plans. The bakery was something of my dreams. The self-serve cookies; especially the almond, are not to be missed. The freshly made Pretzels are good enough to sell on a food truck. The produce, meat, and seafood all looked fresh and all we could do was walk around wide-eyed. We bought snacks for our hotel room, but wished we had more time there to try more. It was refreshing to see actual cashiers working and not an entire store of self-checkout. We also appreciated everyone giving us the time of day and having a good attitude. Being able to walk in, get what you need without having to wait hours for every single item to be unlocked because crime/theft is so bad was blissful and reminiscent of a different time period.
