I had an extremely frustrating experience at Pablo's barbershop today, and as a new customer, it left me thoroughly disappointed. When I walked in seeking a haircut, I was told that "she" would assist me. I noticed a person sitting in the chair next to Pablo, engrossed in her phone. After a few minutes of waiting, I decided to leave.
During my brief absence, I took care of an errand and decided to book an appointment with Pablo himself online. Returning 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I found the barbershop crowded. The same person who had been on her phone earlier approached me and offered to take care of my haircut. I politely declined, mentioning my appointment with Pablo.
Pablo came over and informed me that he had two people ahead of me and asked about the appointment time. He then suggested that I go with the other person, emphasizing that he was running behind schedule. However, I had booked a haircut with him and insisted on keeping my appointment. It was at this point that I realized the barbershop might not be the right place for me.
As a new resident in the area, I expected businesses to uphold the importance of appointments. It was disheartening to experience such a lack of professionalism and punctuality. I decided to leave, as it became evident that this establishment didn't deserve my patronage.
While I may be new to the area, I'm not new to the concept of appointments. Businesses should honor their commitments and not offer appointments if they can't uphold them. I'll return to New Jersey to have my hair cut by professionals who understand the significance of an appointment and won't attempt to redirect customers to a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHave been going for over 2 years usually 1x/month. Unfortunately, overall experience has been declining and prices have been raised 50% to $30 + tip for buzz cut, no wash and an awkward 1 min "facial" rub. Usually when i have an appointment I'm waiting 5-10 min, but chairs are available and comfortable. On a rare occassion I am seen on time. Usually once started I'm done in less than 15 min which includes the facial rub. I've been ok with all that since Vina (Pablo's wife) is a talented barber, but unfortunately today was my last day. She had started my haircut after a 5 min wait, but stopped after 10 min when Pablo had said something to her. I noticed the person he had on his chair stand and then Vina went and started working with that person even though she had not finished with me yet. Over 10 minutes past while i could hear them talking and she was obviously working on him until she returned back to me and when she did, she was done with my haircut in less than 5 min. So why didn't she just finish my haircut first? Why did she make me wait in the middle of my appointment over 10 min when i was more than halfway done so she could work with this other person? Why was this other person more important than me? This was very unprofessional and rude and disrespectful of my time. Unfortunately I will no longer be patronizing Pablo's Precision Cuts and I can not recommend going here even though they are talented barbers and superficially friendly. I think for a $35 buzz cut I should be treated with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery professional, friendly and clean barbershop! My husband and son come here for their haircuts and are always pleased with the outcome. The only issue they have is when they make an appointment on the website. When they arrive at the appointment time, the barber is never available. They are giving someone else a haircut and the wait is at least 20 minutes, even witth a confirmed appointment. I don't understand why they accept appointments online but don't actually honor the appointment. My husband has decided to just walk in...
