Sabor Dominicano — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

Let me start by I normally don't leave bad reviews, this might be 3rd or 4th overall. I am extremely understanding and sympathetic, But had to leave this review. I've eaten here twice. Both times ordered the large Tripe soup. The 1st time I ate in with my daughter and it was acceptable. Could've had more Tripe and less soup but passable. I went back to order it again and this time took it to go. Got back to work and started eating it and found about 5 or 6 pieces of Tripe and the rest was some carrots ad potatoes but mostly just soup. I was extremely disappointed and called the restaurant asking for a manager or someone in charge and was told that on no one was there to speak to me at this time and they would be available tomorrow. So calling back tomorrow to have a conversation about my $13 soup with some pieces of Tripe in it. We will see...

after waiting over an hour for my uber delivery i chose to come in and pick it up , when i showed up i was told my order was cancelled not changed to pick up and i was not able to get my food , my uber app is now telling me it’s still waiting for me to pick it up and if i choose to cancel i will not get my money back. I’m not sure whether this is a problem that has to do with the restaurant or the uber app but if it is with the restaurant people...

Best avena ever, so sweet and comforting! The mofongo with chicken was great! So full of flavor! I also ordered the mangu con tres golpes which is fried cheese, salami, and eggs with pickled red onions! AMAZING!
