Yes, old school musician shops still exist. Learned more about microphones in 2 minuets talking to Larry the long time store proprietor than I gleaned from a couple hour deep dive on the internet. The shop itself is an eclectic mix of new and used gear and feels a bit like you stepped back in time to the 1970's and yes, prices are very competitive. What sticks with me is what I really like about upstate NY. The people, Larry listens well and draws from decades of experience in the music business to get it right. It doesn't hurt that he is a genuinely nice person. Encore, Bravo. Music is personnel, the store experience is really superior to the impulse clicking for the brown box trap that's EZ to fall into. If your just starting out or a retired person picking that instrument back up again it's worth the drive to get your groove on here...
