LOFT — Local services in Town of Eastchester

Do NOT shop at this location!! I went to the this location Summer 2023 to buy some work outfits. They had ONE register open. I was waiting behind a couple who was returning online order. I was waiting literally 15 minutes to purchase 5 outfits, then finally when the Hispanic blonde hair chubby employee was finished with the returning items customer the employee stated to me that the back of the line was in between the two registers she pointed where there was 2 other people waiting to pay. I told the employee that I was waiting right behind the previous customers while u had a long as conversation with them. Finally they decided to open up the second register while the Hispanic blonde hair chubby employee is arguing with me about not making the line meanwhile I was the first person there wait g RIGHT behind the customers she was attending to… I Left all items with the store associate and walked out the door without anything. I Will NEVER bring any business to LOFT again, y’all hiring the wrong people providing horrible customer service. How in the world did this employee not realize I was waiting online for 15 minutes and I was there before anyone else started forming a line…The employee arguing with me about me not being the next person in line because I did not stand in the section where others people were. They did not have a sign for line starts here or something. Ya had 1 register open and saw me...

The staff is very rude. I am not treated as a customer here ( I actually worked at LOFT for several years while in graduate school). They are not nice and welcoming. I would rather go elsewhere. Some of the associates are a bit prejudice. It’s very uncomfortable and everyone should be treated equally instead I’m often racially profiled. They don’t ask if you need assistance They are not joyful and when you get to the register it’s often only one person working and the older people at the register often do not even say hello and are not personable. Really makes you not want to shop. Besides that they have a wide selection in comparison to the other locations. Really unfortunate. Maybe it’s the area. It’s the holiday season you’d think their service would be better and treating folks...

The store has a good selection of merchandise; however as mentioned in other reviews the customer service needs some polishing. The woman with multiple sleeve tattoos (possibly Hispanic) comes off as very hostile, angry and unkind. (May ‘25) I’ve shopped at the Loft for many, many years and never encountered anyone so clearly confused about how to interact with customers respectfully. I don’t like leaving negative reviews; however if you encounter her, you have advance notice. Hopefully, she will be retrained… especially around respect for all. This affects the entire...
