We went there to have a birthday dinner for two and it was early. This wasn’t my choice but my husband likes Haiku. After we sat down, it became a rushing event. We weren’t done looking at the menu, the server came to ask us about our choices. We told her we needed time and ordered our drinks and apps to buy some time. She gave us some but kept returning in a short time requesting our dinner choices again which was annoying. I felt we were being rushed like it was a take out place. We were trying to have a conversation about our day and again being rushed . We ordered the wanton soup and salmon salad for starters, sushi black rice roll, the spicy salmon Roll and the eggplant with brown rice ( no meats) After we ate, our plates cleared, the server came over with desert. We ordered the Godiva cheesecake with a candle ( tasted more like a mousse) and it was tasty. After coming home an hour or so later, I started itching and had hives followed by diarrhea. That was the last straw for me. Pretty bad experience and will stay away. On the other hand,my husband had no symptoms. This is the second sushi place I ate with a...

I ordered two sesame chicken lunch specials. My office is in walking distance to the establishment. the specials I ordered come with white rice and soup or salad. I asked for 2 specials with 2 white rices and a salad and a soup. when receiving my food I only had $1.50 extra on me to give to the delivery man. mind you, I CAN WALK THERE AND BACK TO MY OFFICE WITHIN 10MIN (Less then a half a mile away) when the delivery man saw I only left him $1.50 he was rude and responded with "that's it? only $1.50". As a delivery person you should NEVER question the amount of money a person gives you, that is just RUDE! also I open my bag & they forgot to give me the second rice. I called back for them to bring me the rice and they said they did want to delivery it and they asked me if they could give me a credit for next time. THERE WILL NOT BE A NEXT TIME!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN & I URGE EVERYONE TO DO...

It used to be a 3.5 star in quality but has dropped to a 2.5 to 3. Quality of fish is fine - not bad though not memorable either. The rice is a bit cold - good sushi chefs focus on at least room temperature and ideally warm rice to enhance the fish flavor. Not this place. Here it is better than cold rice- it is not like grocery store sushi out of a fridge… but it’s still cold as of made two hours ago. There is hot food too - mostly fried stuff which I didn’t try. On the positives - The place is clean and service is prompt. Wine selection by glass is just limited with bad/cheap wine. I wish they had a few better choices even if more expensive rather than airline quality. Beer and sake choices are better but also limited in variety. Overall I would rather drive longer but go to a better place even if a bit more expensive. (Or don’t eat sushi but a cheaper cuisine at a...

So, it's in a strip mall, yes - but give it a chance. This was the best sushi I have had in recent memory. Eating it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling all over (may have been the Sapporo). If you eat much sushi, you probably know that the difference between good sushi and great sushi is the rice. This is great sushi. It made me acutely aware of the 3.5 billion year evolutionary history of the fish. I felt the weight of time and the interconnections of the planet's biochemical cycles. I observed myself as a self observing. It dawned on me, I and the fish were a single entity encompasing everything. By consuming it I participated in a willfull internal restructuring of the distribution of matter and energy in the universe. I was not in control any more than the fish was. Staff was polite and attentive. Will definitely be back.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to this place both with family and friends. I’ve tried the other Haiku’s and don’t bother with them - this one is by far the best. It is reliably delicious and fresh tasting. And it has great waitstaff... There is no other restaurant in Westchester that I can think of that has the staff speedily and sneakily clear your finished plates and refill water even when super busy. Most of the time I don’t even notice them doing it - it’s like magic! Sushi is what you should order here but some of the hot food is good too (like the the sesame chicken and seafood soup). Pictured is the Sushi Deluxe entree and Sunomono appetiser

Absolutely exquisite, intimate, quickly turn around service, beautiful presentation of the food. I went for a sweet intimate lunch date during the day, it is a small space with a bistro dining section on one side and a full service bar on the other. Between the decor, furniture and lighting, I forgot it was day time! I was enchanted with the delectable drink choices and impressed with the fair prices for everything. Great lunch specials! The coco Mai drink was my absolute favorite! Excellent Shrimp tempura and Miso Soup! Great free parking on site, out door seating available when the weather permits. Can't wait to go back already! 😩
