Skaters Edge Roller Rink — Local services in Town of Grand Chute

i came here to try something different other than my favorite home roller rink (Skate City in Kimberly) and I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! the staff wasn’t very friendly nor did they listen to what any of their customers had to say. their audience was teens ranging from 15-19 years of age and then a few adults and children, all they played was late 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s music. half of everyone that showed up when they opened, left immediately. probably after 30 minutes or so! the group i went with requested songs and they played none of them the entire time! NONE! they didn’t even play anyone else’s requests either. the DJ was not even nice whatsoever, i asked him about 3 times if he could play the songs that were requested and he refused! he was very opinionated and played only the music HE WANTED. we were there from open to close. to add to that as well, there was no supervision anywhere! kids were smoking vape pens on the skating floor, they were on their phones AND there was children probably younger than 6 years old using the helpers with the wheels so they could balance and they would stop on the floor and not move or watch for other people, they would fall (which is expected) and also skate the other way during the all skate and even the games, THE STAFF NEVER SAID ANYTHING NOR DIRECTED THEM! the concession stand was very outdated and looked unsanitary as well as the bathrooms! and last but not least, the skates (quads and inlines) were SO unsafe! the ones i rented had no stopper at all! i had to ask to swap my skates 3 different times. it was so insane! i will never return here, EVER. i will continue to go to the best roller rink in the Fox Valley area which is SKATE CITY. this place is trash and a waste of good money, i paid $8.00 to come here and listen to music and skate and had...

Went here on January 13th, 2017--We would rate this as a minus 5 stars if we could--terrible employees--don't waste your money ---rude--disrespectful--employees clearly enjoy using the whistle and their "authority" to belittle kids there to skate. A younger kid there acting as a employee (the one with the hat on) told my family his grandmother would kick us out and called us the "N" word---REALLY!! The employee dressed in all black repeatedly harassed one of the boys we had along because he rented a skate mate due to an injury for safety--As a parent I wanted to talk to him but the boys were so embarrassed about it they didn't want me too and 3 of our group left early because of this--thanks a lot employees---also complaining behind the counter--we spent about $90 on admission, food, drinks---terrible food---more employee ridiculous rude behavior but not worth my time to write it all down---please consider spending your money some place else. OWNERS--People now days don't want to spend their hard earned money dealing with such crap--lots of negative reviews on here about employees --you'll be closing the doors permanently if your family/employees don't figure this out---Geez maybe that's why on a Friday night like tonight with it cold and not much to do you were only 1/3 full!!!!! Absolutely loved this place highly recommended, the place was very well staffed kept very neat and tidy the facilities were beyond awesome very family oriented. The rink floor was still an amazing condition the owner was very nice spending lots of time and information about the history of the establishment, roller skating and how the pandemic has affected the industry. The rates were extremely affordable if anything underpriced, understanding the economy insurance rates and music rights roller skating rinks in many ways are barely skating across the water. With this in mind the owner believes in having a great family Outlet, and a safe place for kids to be period with this in mind I truly believe and stand strong that this lady is a pillar to the community and so many generations since the beginning of their journey.
