For those with dietary restrictions, Costco stocks more organic and gluten-free brands than Sam's. The Kirkland generic alternatives to costlier brand name items are all perfect substitutions for budget-conscious folks.

The bright lighting is a bit harder on the eyes, so if you are prone to migraines, I would recommend bringing your sunglasses along. Nobody gave me a second glance for wearing a mask or sunglasses, although I felt like a weirdo.😂So, do what you need to do to stay healthy, fellow autoimmune sufferers.

The staff is super efficient and helpful. They get you packed and on your way quick--even when the lines are long.

Speaking of lines, COSTCO could use a bit more signage/guidelines to keep people from blocking off aisles. That's especially problematic on the weekend.

I love the deals on household goods like bathroom rugs, towels, etc., and the personal accessories (socks, underwear, etc.) are all high-quality brands of surprisingly good quality. The prices for these items are actually better than comparable items I've purchased at Sam's. That's another reason I switched over to COSTCO.

The only area that is, surprisingly, lacking in options lately is the produce department. I've compared prices and options recently with Sam's, and the offerings at COSTCO are a bit disappointing--especially the fruits. Maybe that's just a seasonal issue? I'll review again in the summer.

We came and switch our mobile carrier from Verizon to atnt and this is the nightmare we start 3 months ago . Now we suffer that decision. If I only knew that this company will course me so much problems . They offer free phones ok ?! Now we are outside of USA for our vacation and the FREE phones are locked !!!! So they offer me to own my free phone and use it as I decide how - right ? No they told me that I can use it outside of USA in 2 years when the FREE phone is paid off . Costco is a great warehouse retail store with a plethora of items for sale, be it food, clothing, household, books, toiletries, pharmacy, optical, tires, etc.... Yes, when it comes to food you will likely be purchasing larger quantities than you would if you were shopping at your local grocery store but that is the whole idea behind these warehouse stores like Sam's and Costco. I never shopped at Costco until my neighbor offered to take me and I found a 6 pack of LED light bulbs on sale for $2!!!! I should have purchased more than the 2 boxes I did but I only needed 12. The bulbs in the photo are still at a good price but I am waiting to see if they sell for $2 again. I now love to get the Quaker Oats granola and their cheese selection is quite extensive. Some items are seasonal so you have to be on your toes. Likewise, they will move items so while something you are looking for and normally purchase may appear to be gone, it may just be around the corner. The wine selection is also quite good and their Kirkland branded liquors as just as good as the name brand they appear to be emulating. The prices are not bad if you consider the quantity you are getting and the employees are always nice. Need a TV, computer, or jewelry? Costco has a lot of items.
