My husband was gifted music lessons. I have never seen him so happy. What I thought would be a 6 month lesson opportunity has been extended. The music teacher well, there are just not enough words of praise to describe his talent. He went to college for music and brings his passion for music to each lesson. Plus, he's an excellent teacher. I would truly recommend the Guilderland Music Academy to any adult with a desire to connect with the artistic side of life or enhance their musical skills. As an added bonus, they bring in professional musicians to speak to and answer questions for the young students about music careers and share their industry experiences along with musician best practices. If there are any aspiring younger guitar musicians this is the place to study and learn your craft. If you are an adult playing the guitar, this is the place to go to keep up. We drove by this school everyday for many years, why we didn't stop in sooner is a mistake we gladly remedied. Without hesitation, this is the best thing you can do for yourself or a young student. My daughter started piano lessons in the Fall of 2017 when the Guilderland Music Academy first opened. We have been really happy with our experience here. I chose GMA based on the convenient location and competitive prices. My daughter started with group piano lessons, and later moved up to private lessons because she liked piano so much and it fit our schedule better. The teachers have been great, and keep my daughter engaged and interested in her piano lessons. There is a nice waiting area outside the classrooms, including a table and chairs and Wifi. I am very impressed with how well they communicate, with newsletters, automatic billing, and also quick responses via e-mail (I have had a lot of questions about scheduling, and they have worked to accommodate me). We found Guildeland Music Academy through an on line search. From the very beginning the communication was fantastic. We started at the Scotia location but changed due to personal scheduling conflicts. Finding lesson times was incredibly easy. Switching was incredibly easy. They are accommodating and have, I feel, the perfect amount of communication. I like the texting feature. It makes rescheduling and contacting so much easier. I also love that switching to a Zoom lesson is smooth and easy while staying good quality. This has been a life saver the past few weeks.
