Disorganized and very expensive. There are 2 retail stores in the same plaza as this one plus a bunch of others around the Hamburg area just a couple minutes away from this plaza that have way cheaper clothing and its brand new, Ollie's and Gabe's. Now Ollie's doesn't have that much clothing but I found the item I was looking for there brand new for less than this GW charged for a used one. I am glad I checked there before buying at GW. As for clothing Gabe's prices will easily match the prices in this store or be less. Old Navy and JC Penney in the McKinley mall are not far away from this store and those stores have reasonably priced clothing as well plus its new. They were charging $6-8 for a used stuffed animal and most of them were priced in that range. I get them for 25 cents to $1 consistently at yard sales. In order for me to purchase something at GW in used condition it has to be priced less than retail because its a used item obviously, and that is not the case with this store. The pricing was just ridiculous and I won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the third time I have left a review for this store but this is my only bad one and I must say I am vary disgusted with this location. This store has gone down hill quickly over the past 6 months and now even more so over the past month and a half or so. The original kind hard working staff that used to work so hard on this store are all but gone, including the manager whome I believe is at another much nicer store. There are about 2 or 3 hard working girls that definitely try but to what effect if the store is ill managed by a guy who seams to pick favorites with customers... The first thing you notice when you walk through the door is the smell and how gross the floors are. The quality of clothing has drastically declined and the items in the back of the store are messy, cluttered shelves of trashy items. Sure they are putting out stuff constantly but for what reason if it's junk or broken? I'm disappointed and dissatisfied with this store and surprise anyone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe first time I was there from Canada, I asked for a large stuffed toy for my dog. She said there were none. Then I saw one in the back. I asked her to ask the manager to price it, she refused. I came back from Canada a few weeks later, the prices were outrageously high for Goodwill. The cashier guy asked us to donate our change to Goodwill to round up, round off. This company is becoming a corporate entity whose intent is not to serve or assist the public anymore. Shame on you. Never...
