The store portion of this branch is wonderful, staff is friendly and very helpful. The pharmacy however is NOT. they are understaffed right now, just like everyone else, and as a small business owner myself I am understanding of that. What I don't understand is how the managers and lead pharmacists here allow this place to run as it does. They are horribly rude, never answer the phone and on the rare occasion they do, they hang up immediately. They have also begun closing the drive thru while simultaneously not answering phones. They scream out your prescriptions and full name across the entire store with a line backed up to the front. I have never been treated with such disrespect before. You can say hi and ask how they're doing, It won't be reciprocated. They don't use any bit of privacy or discretion. I would switch pharmacies but given our limited options in town, I guess we are stuck. We have been using this pharmacy for 8 years every single month for my son, and they still fight me when I ask for the proper oral syringes to give my child his medicine when they are supposed to be included. They have also charged me for the oral syringes, which again should be included as there is no other way to dose it properly for my child. when your child's dose is .04ml... you can't use anything else except...
Read moreWent there a month ago to get needleless syringes because my wife's on hospice and takes liquid morphine. The short brunette pharmacist made me feel like I was an addict in search of a needle. Not cool. I explained myself but she did not want to hear , she had already made her decision. Possibly because it's a small town and my wife gave them a shitty review awhile back because they gave her someone else's medicine in her bag. So I go there again the evening before Thanksgiving to get her morphine that hospice called in because Walgreens is closed. Hospice called it in at 1130 am, now it's 640 pm and as soon as I asked man at counter she turns around and snaps there's others ahead of you it won't be ready for 45 minutes. I'm thinking great I have no one to watch her in 45 miinutes, I care for her alone. Hard to get out. So I called hospice explaining my situation where this pharmacist thinks I'm a drug addict and I can't get my wife's meds. Hospice had to call her to tell her I am not a morphine addict. This place sucks. Don't go there. Needless to say I did get her meds thanks to a lady in vermontville who works for hospice.... Is this anyway to treat a customer..... I'm going to speak to the manager about her she should be...
Read moreI drove 40 minutes to get there to pick up a prescription, and was told “sorry you got an 8 day, so you must wait until tomorrow” bevause even their own pharmacists dont realize that when you pick up a prescription at 11am on a certain day, that THAT day counts, so now I don’t have medicine that I need because they can’t notice this simple detail. Now I don’t have the medicine I absolutely need for another 24 hours because of their inability to do basic math. My doctor agrees, they’re definitely a weird pharmacy that makes up their own rules and doesn’t follow NYS/US regulations. The cashiers/pharmacists were not rude or anything about it, but still. I know if I had argued I would’ve been told to leave, so there is absolutely 0 things you can do to get this issue that is clearly their fault resolved. Somebody needs to hold these people...
