The days of a friendly face at the register from a clerk who knows you by name and “would you like paper or plastic?” are long gone. As other reviewers have posted, Josiah wouldn’t lay a finger to help a customer bag there groceries. If I had been shopping and looking to check out, I would actively avoid his line. I had my 3year old son and 2year old daughter with me once, hands full with both of them and still, this boy would not lift a finger to assist. It has unfortunately spread to the remaining cashier grumps at Grand Union. I had cashed at a Wegmans in my youth and this kid wouldn’t have lasted for a week with this work ethic. All I can say is that the benefits of having a cashier in a world of self checkout are lost on this place. 5 stars would be : they used to get the glaceau Vitamin water. The 6 packs are on sale & singles are $2/ 1 bottle. & of course my flavor is the only one that appears a little empty. Today the Dragon fruit was missing several, but of course there were 9 singles that I started to put in my basket. PROBLEM : each bottle in a 6 pack is a dollar $1. In singles they're $2 ... why would I want to do that ? ☆☆ Is there someone to look into this...

I guess they don't bag your groceries anymore. I even got charged for a bag (Mary G.) I asked for and had to walk out carrying my groceries in my hands. Today Josiah rang my food thru, tossed it all to the end of the register and asked if I wanted a bag. I said yes. He opened the bag, shook it and tossed it on my groceries for me to bag.
