I Stopped in just looking for worms the other day, and was met with a friendly greeting before I even stepped foot in the door. (Glad I stumbled upon this place and these great people). A few days later while renting a cabin nearby, (tupper lake) I broke the canoe cart that was owned by the cabin. Scrambling for something to do with only a few days left in town, after hitting a few of the outfitters shops around no one had anything. I stopped in to W&W and explained my situation to Chris. He hopped on the phone immediately and started tracking down the part I needed, after no one else bothered to help. Not only did he find the part, but offered to drop it off locally to the cabin owner as we were leaving town before the part arrived. First I must say i am from down state as they call it, my family and I took a camping trip into st. Armand, I was going to blue line every year UNTIL I found woods and waters this place is wonderfull . it's a family owned and run store. the older man his name is Sam and he was so very helpful and friendly. as soon as I walk into the place I was greeted with a hello good morning as I wasn't in other places in Saranac. He was so very helpful with things that I didn't know anything about being from downstate. I will be coming back to the store every year I come camping to Saranac And or st. Armand. I went in every day and felt good about spending my money here. GREAT MOM AND POP STORE hopefully it stays around forever. Good luck...

Great service, very friendly and helpful. They helped me purchase my first firearm, gave great advice on which firearm to purchase, handled the background check quickly, and had a very good price. While I have not personally purchased any camping or fishing supplies here, they seem to have a very good selection of those supplies as well, also for good prices. Having purchased ammunition here on multiple occasions to go shooting with friends, they have a wide selection of ammunition, including less common calibers and multiple brands and options for common calibers.
