If you're not asphyxiated by roach spray along the entire back of the store, stay and shop the overpriced merchandise. Don't like "false advertising" or "come-ons" to get you into a store. Despite the incredible, unheard of price of $1.69/lb. of Perdue chicken cutlet, they never had it even though lots of customers were there wanting to buy it. They claim the 'corporation' undercuts the amount ordered (highly unlikely, since you order MORE, not LESS, when you're having a sale!). Went back again, don't know whether the employee went to pluck the chickens himself, but I waited quite awhile and still he wasn't bringing any PERDUE packaged chicken to us customers. There wasn't even a SPACE for that item in the refrigerated case, so they never had it in the first place. Who do they think they're tricking -- shoppers are not stupid and have plenty of other stores to shop in that don't do these tricks despite the manager claiming EVERY store does it. I, as a chef, retorted that I shop weekly in 5 different stores and NONE of them do these tricks. No one's a fool. Went to manage- ment and 3 packages were brought out, 2 of which I didn't like the dark coloring and fat. When I requested other packages, there were none-- what a surprise! The location used to be a gym, they need it back to a gym so Foodtown management can work off their B.S. Tell it to the moon, but...

My first time. Gallon bottled water matches the lowest price anywhere. Good fresh fruits and vegetables, many organic. Sonora Suns Organic celery hearts are plump, juicy, and soil-free. Recommend an avocado a day. I got there around 7 PM, I didn't see any ready-made sandwiches that you can just grab-and-go.

Update: Two days later. I found a few ready-made hero sandwiches in the deli department. Look for the display of a dozen refrigerated quiches in transparent clam-shells, the heroes were right under the quiches. There are also some nice salads, some with a half dozen balls of...

Stopped in the newly opened store in East Meadow to purchase ice cream. To my amazement, the store was immaculate, food looked fresh, and prices, especially the sale items were great. So, I decided to buy two salads from the deli and some bakery items. The items were all delicious and fresh. This is my new go to store. I loved the experience. There’s no reason to travel further.
